    Désirée Nosbusch

    Désirée Nosbusch (born 14 January 1965) is a television presenter and actress. She was born in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, and has one Luxembourgish parent and one Italian parent. In the 1980s she lived in Manhattan in New York City, and from the 1990s to 2008 she lived in Los Angeles, California. Nosbusch speaks Luxembourgish, German, French, Italian and English. She has acted in both French-language and German-language films and television productions since her mid teens for example she was a member of the youth drama group of the Lycée Hubert Clément of Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg), and in at least one Italian language film. She presented the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 in Luxembourg & hosted a kid's version of Ruck Zuck called "Kinder Ruck Zuck". Nosbusch is also a singer. In 1984 she recorded a duet with Austrian singer Falco entitled "Kann es Liebe sein?".

    Bady Minck (born 1960 Ettelbruck, Luxembourg) is a filmmaker, film producer and artist. She studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and experimental film at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Her work has been screened at international film festivals (e.g. Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Rotterdam, Locarno) and exhibited at museums like the Centre Pompidou in Paris. She is a founding member of the film production companies Amour Fou (Vienna) and Minotaurus Film (Luxembourg). She lives and works in Vienna and Luxembourg. In 2009, she is a member of the Venice Film Festival Orizzonti Jury.

    Sascha Ley (born September 13, 1967 in Saarbrücken, Germany) is a Luxembourgian singer, song-writer, composer and actress, best known for her work in the jazz genre, and with the Travelling Light Band. Ley studied under th Dutch singer Reinette van Zijtveld at the Djam Jazz School in Amsterdam and Kenny Seymour and later studied classical Hindustani vocals with Dhanashree Pandit-Rai in Mumbai, India. She began in the early 1990s working for theatre and film. In 2005 she was awarded as “Studio Hamburg European Shooting Star” for Luxembourg at the Berlin Film Festival Berlinale. Ley has performed internationally in countries such as Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, England, Sweden, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, India, and Greece. She received critical acclaim for her 2007 album, Travelling Light. In 2007 she also performed at the Jazz UTSAV Festival in Mumbai and New Delhi, with her band composed of George Letellier on piano, Marc Demuth on acoustic bass, Johannes Müller on soprano / tenor sax, Anne Kaftan on soprano sax and bass clarinet, and Benoît Martiny on drums.     Anne Fontaine (born in Luxembourg, 1959) is a filmmaker and screenwriter who used to be an actor. She lives and works in France. Born Fontaine Sibertin-Blanc, sister of actor Jean-Chrétien Sibertin-Blanc, she went as a young child to live in Lisbon, where her father, Antoine Sibertin-Blanc, is a music professor and cathedral organist. In adolescence she moved to Paris and trained in dance with Joseph Russillo while continuing her academic education, including philosophy. Her husband is Philippe Carcassonne, the film producer, and they have an adopted son who was born in Vietnam. While still dancing, she was picked by Robert Hossein to play Esmeralda in a 1980 theatrical production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and around this time started to use the name Anne Fontaine. She continued with acting and became known for her roles in comedies like Si ma gueule vous plaît... (1981) and P.R.O.F.S.(1985). An opportunity to be assistant director came with a 1986 stage version of Louis-Ferdinand Céline's Voyage au bout de la nuit (Journey to the End of the Night) at the Renaud-Barrault theatre.
