    • Year Released: 2009
Alien Trespass is a 2009 science-fiction comedy film based on 1950s sci-fi B movies. It stars Eric McCormack (Will and Grace) and Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day). The film was shot in Ashcroft, B.C. The story begins in 1957 in the star-filled skies above California's Mojave Desert. It is a special night for noted astronomer Ted Lewis, who is preparing a special dinner for his beautiful, adoring wife Lana to celebrate their wedding anniversary. In another part of town, Tammy, a waitress at small local diner with big plans for the future, looks out her window and is excited to see a shooting star, which she takes as a good sign for her dreams. But, what Dr. Lewis and Tammy assume is a shooting star, is really an alien spaceship. The fiery ball hurtles toward earth and crash-lands on a butte in the desert. The only witnesses are teens Dick and Penny who are necking in a nearby lover's lane. A tall, metallic alien named Urp emerges from the craft unharmed, alarmed to discover that the monstrous Ghota, who was also on board, has escaped. The menacing one-eyed creature's unquenchable appetite could mean the end of civilization as we know it. Urp is the only one who knows how

Chain of Fools (also known by its production title Shiny New Enemies) is a 2000 heist comedy/romance film about a hapless barber named Kresk (Steve Zahn). And yes, things get worse: a criminal named Avnet (Jeff Goldblum) has stolen three priceless coins, and decided to blackmail Bollingsworth (Tom Wilkinson), his billionaire partner in crime. After Kresk overhears this, he almost gets shot—and Avnet ends up impaled on a pair of barbers' scissors. Now Kresk is in a considerably nastier situation, so he steals the gun and the coins. Control Alt Delete is a 2008 comedy film set in an information technology firm just before the year 2000. The fog

    • Year Released: 2005
The Fog is a 2005 horror film directed by Rupert Wainwright and starring Tom Welling, Selma Blair and Maggie Grace. It is a remake of John Carpenter's 1980 film of the same name, but this time made more in the vein of a "teen horror film" (it was rated PG-13 whereas the original film was rated R). Both Carpenter and Debra Hill (who co-wrote the original film with Carpenter and produced it) were producers of this version. In 1871, a group of men from Antonio Bay (off the coast of Oregon), conspire to mislead and murder the crew of the Elizabeth Dane, a clipper ship sailing from Alaska. The Dane is carrying a group of lepers seeking sanctuary, and is captained by William Blake. Blake is a wealthy man infected with leprosy who made an agreement with the islanders to buy half of Antonio Bay for use as a leper colony. However, when four of the islanders meet with Blake onboard the Dane to complete the deal, the islanders double-cross the lepers, loot the ship and then set it on fire, killing everyone onboard including Blake and his wife. 134 years later, in the present day, a young woman named Elizabeth Williams returns to her family home on Antonio Bay after a six month absence.
