    Flash point

    • Year Released: 2007
Flash Point (aka City Without Mercy) is a 2007 Hong Kong martial arts action crime film directed by Wilson Yip, and also choreography and produced by Donnie Yen and starring Yen, Collin Chou, Louis Koo and Ben Lam. This was Ben Lam's final film appearance, who has retired from acting. Yen portrays Ma Jun, a police sergeant who plants his friend and partner, Wilson, (Louis Koo) as a mole in a pursuit against a triad led by three Vietnamese brothers (Collin Chou, Ray Lui, and Xing Yu). Flash Point was repeatedly hailed as a prequel to the 2005 film SPL: Sha Po Lang, which was Wilson Yip and Donnie Yen's first feature-film collaboration as director and star respectively. Yen denied the SPL prequel reports, claiming that Flash Point was a completely original film. Principal photography began in Hong Kong from November 2006 to March 2007. For his conception of Flash Point's major fight sequences, Yen relied on the use of mixed martial arts, working alongside an international group of martial artists. His work as a choreographer won him "Best Action Choreography" awards at the 27th Hong Kong Film Awards and the 2008 Golden Horse Film Awards. Flash Point was released in Hong Kong on 9

    Jian gui 2

    • Year Released: 2004
The Eye 2 is a 2004 Hong Kong horror film directed by the Pang brothers. It is the sequel to The Eye (2002), though the two storylines are not related in any way except for seeing ghosts. Believing she is being rejected by her boyfriend Sam, Joey attempts suicide with sleeping pills, but recovers after having her stomach pumped. When she looks forward to a brand new life, she discovers that she is pregnant. Being tortured by the thought of an abortion and unable to contact Sam, the man she knows is her baby's father, Joey finds herself becoming delusional and emotionally unstable. Joey begins to see the spirits of dead people (often accompanying pregnant women), and also feels stalked by a mysterious ghost woman. She believes the ghost wants to hurt her unborn baby. As the story unfolds, it is discovered that the ghost is Sam's wife who, after overhearing a phone conversation between Joey and Sam, and feeling rejected by her husband, committed suicide by jumping in front of an oncoming train. She is now awaiting Joey's baby's birth so that she may be reincarnated within her. After discovering this, Joey would rather kill herself and her baby than let this woman become her child.
