Splash Mountain is a themed log flume attraction at Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort, based on the characters, stories, and songs from the 1946 Disney film Song of the South. Although there are variations in the story and features between the three locations, each installation begins with a peaceful outdoor float-through that leads to indoor dark ride segments, with a climactic steep drop into a "briar patch" followed by an indoor finale. The drop is 53 feet. The different versions of Splash Mountain feature similar stories, albeit with small differences. Each ride presents scenes taken from the animated segments of Song of the South. It tells the story of the adventures of Br'er Rabbit, a mischievous rabbit that leaves his home in the briar patch to look for his "laughing place." Unfortunately for him, Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear, the antagonists of this story, are determined to catch and eat him. Radiator Springs Racers is a slot car dark ride attraction in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure. The attraction features third-generation Test Track technology, an attraction located at Epcot in Walt Disney World. Radiator Springs Racers is themed to the fictional world from Disney·Pixar's Cars. The attraction is the most expensive to be built in the entire Disneyland Resort, one of the most expensive attractions Disney has ever built, and one of the most expensive theme park attractions in the world at an estimated cost of over $200 million, which took up about 18% of the entire cost of the $1.1 billion expansion plan for Disney California Adventure Park. The attraction takes guests in a six-person vehicle through a briefing with Doc and Lighting McQueen, characters from the film Cars. Guests race another guest vehicle through turns and banks, ending with a randomized race result. The attraction, along with the rest of the Disney California Adventure multi-year expansion, was announced on October 17, 2007. However, the first indication of the attraction and the new land was some concept art published in the Dreaming section of The Walt Disney Company's 2006 annual report.

Animagique is an attraction located in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. It opened on March 16, 2002 with the park. It is housed in Studio 3, at the entrance of Toon Studio. Guests are invited to watch a show adventure about Disney Classics. It opens with Mickey and Donald teaching a drawing course in a room. At its far end is a door leading to the Cinematheque, which is strictly forbidden, as Mickey instructs Donald. However, after Mickey's departure, Donald decides he can open the door a little, without Mickey even knowing. As he does so, a flash of light takes Donald into the film vault. He then encounters scenes from various films including Dumbo, The Little Mermaid, The Jungle Book, and The Lion King.

Innoventions is an attraction in Tomorrowland at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It opened on July 3, 1998 as part of the New Tomorrowland, and focuses on near-futuristic technologies. It occupies the Carousel Theater, a round two-story building in which the outer half of the first floor rotates. A similar attraction of the same name exists in Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort. From 1967 to 1973, the building housed the Carousel of Progress. This attraction was moved from Disneyland to its current location in Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in 1973, at the request of its sponsor, GE. America Sings occupied the building from the following year until 1988. Audio-Animatronics from the show were used in Disneyland's Splash Mountain. The Flying Saucers was an attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California from 1961 to 1966. Guests rode on personal flying saucers on a cushion of air, similar to an air hockey game, which played in a way similar to bumper cars with guests ramming each other with their saucers. As the ride began, the saucers would be subject to a high volume of low-pressure air directed underneath the saucers by means of a grid of circular valves from a plenum chamber below the field on which they operated. As the saucers moved about the field, the valves would open and close in response to their proximity. As guests shifted their weight in any direction by leaning, saucer movement would respond by means of an air jet derived from the increased pressure in the saucer's plenum. If weight was centered, the saucer would begin to "hop" up and down as the air randomly escaped around the plenum. All that was required to regain control was for the guest to lean in any direction. The ride consisted of two sets of saucers (approximately 14 each) on a semi-circular field and a mechanical boom that would sweep the arc of the field and corral one set of saucers in the loading area. Meet the World (ミート・ザ・ワールド, Mīto za Wārudo) was an attraction at Tomorrowland in Tokyo Disneyland from 1983 until 2002. It was a show which explored the history of Japan over the course of 19 minutes, focusing specifically on the history of Japan's engagement with the outside world. The show featured an animated crane explaining Japanese history to a young boy and girl from Yokohama. The show featured dialogue between a number of audio-animatronic figures (including Sakamoto Ryōma, Itō Hirobumi and Fukuzawa Yukichi) and a movie screen in the background. Park guides and maps said "explore Japan's heritage in an incredible time-travel adventure!" The show was presented in a rotating theater, similar to the Carousel of Progress at Walt Disney World and previously at Disneyland However, they were designed in the opposite way. In Tokyo, the audiences sat in the rotating theater inside with the stages built around them, whereas, in the Carousel of Progress the audience sits in the rotating outside with the stages being the center of the building. Superstar Limo was a dark ride in Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Superstar Limo was situated in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot area of the park and was one of the original attractions featured on opening day. The attraction closed in 2002, earning the dubious distinction of being the park's first attraction to permanently close. It has since been replaced by Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! in 2006. The attraction's purple "stretch limo" ride vehicles took riders through a cartoony rendition of Hollywood. Riders were introduced to animated figures modeled in the likeness of celebrities from hit ABC shows (ABC is owned by the Walt Disney Company). Celebrities included but were not limited to Joan Rivers, Regis Philbin, Melanie Griffith, Antonio Banderas, Cindy Crawford, Tim Allen, Jackie Chan, Drew Carey, Cher, and Whoopi Goldberg. Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! is a dark ride attraction at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It opened January 22, 2006 with a grand Sully-Blue-Fur Carpet Premiere. It is based on the 2001 Disney·Pixar film Monsters, Inc. The attraction replaced the Superstar Limo dark ride. The ride follows, very closely, the story of the film. The queue area, where guests wait to board the attraction, is themed to a bus station named the Monstropolis Transit Authority, featuring posters and videos of commercials of tourist spots in the fictional city of Monstropolis where the film is set. Posters of Harryhausen's (a restaurant from the film named for an influential early animated filmmaker) foreshadow a scene within the attraction. Guests board taxis on a journey through the streets of Monstropolis. A small television monitor in each of the three rows of the ride vehicle plays a clip of a tourism video that is interrupted with urgent news that a female human child named Boo has been seen in the city. Pooh's Hunny Hunt is a unique 'trackless' dark ride located at Tokyo Disneyland. It is based on the adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, and is Fantasyland's most popular attraction. After the rise in popularity of Walt Disney's film adaptation of Winnie-the-Pooh, Disney Imagineers made plans in the late 1970s for a Winnie the Pooh attraction at Disneyland's soon-to-be renovated Fantasyland. However in 1983, when the renovated Fantasyland reopened, a Winnie the Pooh attraction was notably absent. Seven years later, during a period when the character was undergoing a resurgence in popularity, plans for a Winnie the Pooh attraction were approved at Walt Disney World. Planners utilized an existing structure, that of the Fantasyland attraction Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. The next version of the attraction, considerably different in configuration, was Pooh's Hunny Hunt, which opened in Tokyo Disneyland. Due to a closure of all of the Skyways at Disney Parks across the world, including Tokyo, a space was left where the Fantasyland Skyway station once stood. Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island is an artificial island surrounded by the Rivers of America at Disneyland. It contains caves with references to Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean film trilogy, Mark Twain characters from the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and provides interactive, climbing, and scenic opportunities. The area opened in 1956, one year after the opening of Disneyland Park. Prior to the debut of Fantasmic! in 1992, when the south end of the Island was re-built to facilitate the nighttime show, Tom Sawyer Island saw very little change. The Island received major upgrades, new show elements, and a complete re-theming in 2007 when it re-opened as Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island. The re-theming eradicated much of the previous Tom Sawyer theme in favor of characters and elements from and inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island's opening coincided with the theatrical release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Golden Dreams is a film about the history of California. It was a featured attraction at Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, opening with the park on February 8, 2001. It starred Whoopi Goldberg as Califia, the Queen of California. On September 7, 2008 the last showing of the film to the public was made. The theater was razed in July 2009 and was replaced by The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure. However, the exterior replica of the Bernard Maybeck's Palace of Fine Arts remained. The final showing took place as a private showing for cast members on March 26, 2009. Guests enter the theater, a replica of the Bernard Maybeck façade of San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, a famed Bay Area landmark constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition. As the show began, two tall art deco statues of a single goddess-like woman, one on either side of a film projection screen, were bathed in golden light. The statue on the right "comes to life," personified by Goldberg, through a video of her face, which was projected from the rear onto the translucent head of the figure. El Rio del Tiempo (The River of Time) was a dark ride housed within the pyramid-shaped Mexico pavilion, in EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The ride carried passengers on a slow boat ride through various scenes from Mexico's history. The scenes were filled with doll-sized Audio-Animatronic figures clad in authentic folk clothing, singing, dancing, and playing music. The ride began on a quiet river under an evening sky. It passed a volcano and continued on to scenes of native inhabitants. The ride continued with scenes of swimming, jumping into the ocean and relaxing at a bar. It would pass a Mexican shop, where merchants talked directly to the riders and tried to bargain with them. The finale was a fireworks filled night sky in modern day Mexico City, with oversized marionettes dancing in a carousel. In April 2007, El Rio del Tiempo was updated into a new ride titled Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros. This all-new version of the ride is themed on the characters from the 1944 Disney film The Three Caballeros, including Donald Duck, Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles. Mickey's PhilharMagic is a 4-D film attraction found at the Magic Kingdom theme park in the Walt Disney World Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland and at Tokyo Disneyland. The film was directed by George Scribner, who is best known for directing Disney's 1988 animated film, Oliver and Company. Mickey's PhilharMagic is a 12-minute long show featuring 3D effects, scents, and water as well as a number of characters from Disney movies. It is shown on the largest purpose-built 3D screen ever made, at 150 feet wide. At Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, Mickey's PhilharMagic is located adjacent to Peter Pan's Flight and the Fantasy Faire shop in Fantasyland. This is the fourth attraction to utilize this show building. The theatre originally hosted the Mickey Mouse Revue. Later, it was the home to the 3-D Magic Journeys film after it left Epcot's Journey into Imagination pavilion to make way for Captain EO. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, more commonly known as Tower of Terror, is an accelerated drop tower thrill ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida, Disney California Adventure, Tokyo DisneySea and Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris. It is based upon the television show The Twilight Zone. The original version of the attraction opened at Disney-MGM Studios (now Disney's Hollywood Studios) in July 1994; the California Adventure version opened nearly ten years later in May 2004. The Tokyo DisneySea version—named simply "Tower of Terror" and featuring a modified storyline—opened in September 2006, followed by the Walt Disney Studios Park version in April 2008. The attraction takes place in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel (itself inspired by the Hollywood Tower, named a historic landmark by the US Department of the Interior). The story of the hotel, adapted from elements of the television series, includes the hotel being struck by lightning on October 31, 1939, mysteriously transporting an elevator cart full of passengers to the Twilight Zone and causing an entire wing of the building to disappear. Aquatopia is an attraction at Tokyo DisneySea theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Chiba, Japan. Located in the Port Discovery area of the park, it is notable as being the second of only two attractions in the world (the other being Pooh's Hunny Hunt at neighboring park Tokyo Disneyland) to use a new trackless ride system designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. It is considered to be the successor to both Disneyland's Motor Boat Cruise and the Autopia, from which Aquatopia received its name as homage. The ride consists of around three dozen vehicles designed to look like personal hovercrafts which move independently from each other at quick speeds through a large water lagoon. The water in the lagoon is about 5 cm (2 inches) deep, as the vehicles actually roll along the shallow floor on wheels. The water is kept moving to create the illusion of depth, and occasional funnel drains give the appearance of forbidding whirlpools. Like the older attractions it is inspired by, Aquatopia is self-guided. California Screamin' is a steel roller coaster located at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, California. This boardwalk-themed coaster was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, and was built by Intamin. California Screamin' is the 8th longest roller coaster in the world (4th longest steel coaster in the United States), at 6,072 feet (1,851 m) long. It is also the longest ride with an inversion (since the loop has been removed from the 7,032 feet (2,143 m) Son of Beast). Its highest point is 120 feet (37 m) tall followed by a 108-foot (33 m) drop. Though built of steel, the structure as designed visually mimics the features of a wooden coaster. This coaster has some distinctive features. It uses a linear induction motor to launch the train up the first hill, replacing the traditional lift hill chain. This coaster is one of Disney's fastest attractions, accelerating guests from zero to 55 miles per hour (89 km/h) in four seconds at the launch. The Disneyland Railroad (DLRR), originally the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad, is a narrow gauge railroad at Disneyland, Anaheim, California, United States, that was inaugurated on the park's live television preview on July 17, 1955. This live steam railway was constructed for $240,000; the two original locomotives cost $40,000 each. Riders use it as transportation to other areas of the park or simply for the experience of the "Grand Circle Tour". The Main Street railroad station is situated at the entrance of Disneyland. Roger E. Broggie, master machinist at Disney Studios, was familiar with fabricating small camera parts with precision. Walt approached him to create a 1/8 scale live steam locomotive while training Walt as a machinist. The Disneyland Railroad was inspired by Walt Disney's love for trains, while tinkering in the barn of his live steam backyard Carolwood Pacific Railroad. Journey to the Center of the Earth is an attraction at Tokyo DisneySea, based on Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth. The attraction uses similar technology to Epcot's Test Track. The volcano of Mysterious Island, Mount Prometheus, has become Captain Nemo's base. After traveling through its caverns, guests board "Terravators" (elevators) to the facility's base station one half mile below. In this base station is a communication center which is currently giving warnings of increased volcanic activity, but the scientist who mans it is currently away on a tea break. Riders then board steam-powered mine vehicles that travel through pre-drilled tunnels into the heart of the Earth. The ride begins through a cavern of colorful glowing crystals, before entering a giant Mushroom Forest, which is inhabited by strange insect and amphibian-like life forms. Before the car can proceed further, an earthquake causes a cave-in of the tunnel ahead, forcing the car off its planned route and down a side branch filled with giant egg-like sacks. The car emerges on the shore of the Subterranean Sea, and is nearly struck by a lightning from the electrified gas clouds. The finale comes when

Rocket Rods was an attraction in Tomorrowland at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Opening on May 22, 1998 as part of the New Tomorrowland, this high-speed attraction ran on the former PeopleMover track. Riders entered the attraction through the former Circle-Vision 360° building at the front of Tomorrowland. Guests boarded an unusual 5-seat Rocket Rod before moving forward to a staging area similar to one used for drag racing. Anticipation was built by the lights changing from red, to yellow, to green, and then having the vehicle zoom down a straightaway toward the entrance of Tomorrowland, before quickly decelerating at the curve in the track. During the development phase, Disney was unable to obtain sponsors to aid in the funding of the attraction; thus, the turns remained without banks, requiring the sudden acceleration/deceleration. When the attraction was open, this straightaway was used for a small wheelie as well. The Rocket Rod took riders through the building housing Star Tours, Star Trader and the Starcade, offering views of all three through glass panes in the tunnel. Golden Zephyr is an attraction at Paradise Pier in Disney California Adventure Park. Themed to the Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon style rocket ships, it takes park guests on a relaxing trip. Unlike its cousins Dumbo and the Astro Orbitor next door in Disneyland Park, the Golden Zephyr rockets are controlled by centripetal motion over Paradise Bay and can not be automatically controlled to go up and down. The Golden Zephyr's design comes from the Harry Traver Circle Swing rides of the early 20th century, specifically the Aerostat / Strat-O-Stat ride that operated at Riverview Park in Chicago. In designing the ride, Disney engineers visited Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, England to examine the Captive Flying Machines, a similar (but much larger) ride designed by Sir Hiram Maxim, and which has operated there since 1904. Unfortunately, the ride cannot operate at constant wind speeds over 10 miles per hour (16 km/h), or gusts over 15 miles per hour (24 km/h). Neither this attraction nor Jumpin' Jellyfish will be removed or changed as part of the ongoing billion-dollar expansion.

Peter Pan's Flight is a suspended dark ride at the Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park (Paris) theme parks. Located in Fantasyland, it is one of the few remaining attractions that was operational on Disneyland's opening day in 1955. The ride's story, music, staging and artwork are based on Walt Disney's Peter Pan, the animated film version of the classic Peter Pan story by J. M. Barrie. The original intent of the attraction was for guests to fly through the ride as if they were Peter Pan. Audiences did not quite grasp this concept and were left wondering why Peter Pan was not in the Peter Pan attraction. The Walt Disney World version of the ride, which opened in 1971, expanded on the original Disneyland attraction. While the overall theme and format of the ride was consistent with the original in California, the Magic Kingdom ride, as with the other dark rides, would feature its characters in Audio-Animatronic style. In 1983, Disneyland's Fantasyland was in a phase of major overhaul. Videopolis is an auditorium in the Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris, near Marne-la-Vallée. It was an opening day attraction, and is located within the Discoveryland section of the park, an alternate take on the Tomorrowland concept, which takes into consideration the science fiction pioneered by the likes of Jules Verne, H.G. Wells or Leonardo Da Vinci. The building is themed to dreams of the future from the turn of the twentieth century, especially air exploration. The airship hanging outside the building is from the 1974 film, The Island at the Top of the World. Videopolis also houses the Café Hyperion, the largest fast-food restaurant in the park. This building features inspiration from Discovery Bay, a former Disneyland concept by Imagineer Tony Baxter (a land themed to Victorian visions of the future), which also inspired Discoveryland. Imagineers provided this former airship station with a whole back-story. The Hyperion once took explorers to 49 destinations, until one day when its captain mysteriously disappeared, leaving her ready for her last journey that never was. The Disneyland Railroad (DLRR), originally the Euro Disneyland Railroad (EDRR), is a narrow gauge railroad at Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Paris Resort in Marne-la-Vallée, France that was inaugurated on the park's opening day, April 12, 1992. Riders use it as transportation to other areas of the park or simply for the experience of the "Grand Circle Tour". Main Street Station is seen upon entering Disneyland Park, in Main Street, U.S.A.. From there, guests can start their journey around the park, with a recorded narration commenting on visited landscapes. Trains first cross a diorama recreation of the Grand Canyon, complete with wild animals and storm effects. As they arrive in Frontierland, travelling behind the Rivers of the Far West, they first stop in Frontierland Depot. Then trains travel through Adventureland, allowing guests to discover the Temple of Peril and witnessing the inside of the ride Pirates of the Caribbean. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is a dark ride at Disneyland Park. It is one of the few remaining attractions that was operational on the park's opening day in 1955. The ride's story is based on Disney's adaptation of The Wind in the Willows, one of the two segments of the film The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. It was once an attraction at the Magic Kingdom park in Walt Disney World, but despite a long protest against its closure, the ride was put to an end in 1998 and replaced the following year with The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. However, a statue of Mr. Toad can be seen with many others at a pet cemetery outside the Haunted Mansion. Corey Burton does every voice at the attraction, except for the usage of audio from the film. Both parks now sell two shirts representing Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, with the shirts at Walt Disney World made for the 1971 Collections set. Space Mountain: Mission 2 is a steel roller coaster-type attraction in Discoveryland at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris themed around a journey into space. The attraction opened on June 1, 1995, three years after the opening of the park, as a revival of interest to draw more guests to the financially unstable European resort. Paris' Space Mountain was the first roller coaster to feature a Synchronized On-Board Audio Track (SOBAT) and was originally themed around Jules Verne's classic 1865 novel From the Earth to the Moon. The audio track was written by Steven Bramson and was in keeping with the Victorian theme. Unlike other Space Mountains found around the world, this version has a grander and more detailed appearance, with a huge dominating Columbiad Cannon and a plate and rivet exterior, in keeping with Discoveryland's retro-futuristic theme. It is the only Space Mountain to feature inversions and a section of the ride outside the mountain, that being the station and cannon. DINOSAUR (originally named Countdown to Extinction) is a dark ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. In the attraction, guests board vehicles called Time Rovers and are taken on a turbulent journey through the Cretaceous era, featuring prehistoric scenes populated with audio-animatronic dinosaurs. The ride liberally utilizes dry ice and fiber-optic meteor effects. Originally named Countdown to Extinction, the ride's name was later changed to DINOSAUR to promote the film of the same name during its release year. The attraction has never contained any explicit references to the film. However, the two dinosaurs most prominently featured in the ride have always been an Iguanadon and Carnotaurus, which were both featured prominently in the film. Scenes from the movie also appear in the pre-show, to help the guests identify the Iguanadon as the film's protagonist, Aladar. Guests enter the Dino Institute, a once secret research facility. The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover (also called the Blue Line, TTA and Tomorrowland's Super-Skyway), formerly known as the WEDWay PeopleMover until 1994 and the Tomorrowland Transit Authority until 2010, is a PeopleMover system in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort. Themed as an urban mass transit system of the future, riders are taken on a train ride around the second floor of many attractions in Tomorrowland. It has one station, in the center of Rockettower Plaza, located beneath the landmark Astro Orbiter. Light Magic was a parade/street show at Disneyland that ran in 1997. Originally billed as a replacement for the venerable 24-year-old Main Street Electrical Parade, Light Magic opened to poor reviews in May 1997 and closed four months later. Though the company officially stated at the time that the show would return in the year 2000, it never did. Despite the show's short run, infrastructure improvements made specifically for Light Magic – particularly in Fantasyland – are still used today. Light Magic was a "streetacular" (a portmanteau of "street" and "spectacular"), with floats moving into two performance zones, one located at the Small World Mall, the other on Main Street. Upon reaching the performance zones, the floats would stop and the pixie characters, who were the focus of the show, would awaken to perform step-dancing routines for the audience, later being joined by Disney characters and audience members. During the performance segment, a portion of each of the floats would open to reveal a screen upon which images were projected from equipment hidden in the surrounding buildings. The Hall of Presidents is an attraction located in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom in the Walt Disney World Resort. The attraction is a multi-media presentation and stage show featuring Audio-Animatronic figures of all 43 individual U.S. Presidents. It opened on October 1, 1971, along with the rest of the Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World. It is housed in a building that resembles Philadelphia's Independence Hall. Walt Disney had originally wanted an attraction similar to the "Hall of Presidents" called One Nation Under God at Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California USA. After Disneyland had become a huge success, Walt Disney proposed an extension of Main Street, U.S.A. called Liberty Street at Edison Square. Walt originally wanted wax figures of all the U.S. Presidents, and later decided to try to make them animated figures. But the technology that Walt Disney wanted for this attraction did not exist or fully meet his desire. Walt Disney decided to collaborate with his fellow Imagineers of WED Enterprises to try to make the first Audio-Animatronic figure in a human form. The Matterhorn Bobsleds or the Matterhorn is an attraction composed of two intertwining steel roller coasters, which opened in 1959 at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It is modeled after the Matterhorn, a mountain in the Swiss Alps. It is the first tubular steel continuous track roller coaster ever constructed and thus an ACE (American Coaster Enthusiasts) Coaster Landmark. Located on the border between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland (see below), it employs forced perspective to seem more impressively large. Throughout the day, climbers dressed in Swiss mountain-climbing garb may be seen scaling the peak, often accompanied by Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Goofy. During the construction of the park, dirt from the excavation of Sleeping Beauty Castle's moat was piled in an area between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. When the park opened, the area, dubbed Holiday Hill (and later Lookout Mountain), was improved with benches and pathways to encourage its use as a picnic area. (marketed as Toy Story Mania!) is an interactive 4-D theme park attraction, currently located at three Disney theme parks: Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort and Tokyo DisneySea at Tokyo Disney Resort. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and inspired by Disney·Pixar's Toy Story franchise, the attraction was first unveiled during a press conference at Walt Disney World in January 2007. The Florida version opened officially on May 31, 2008, while the California version officially opened on June 17, 2008. The Japan version of the attraction opened on July 9, 2012. It's a Small World (stylized as "it's a small world" by The Walt Disney Company) is a popular musical boat ride located in the Fantasyland area at each of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide: Disneyland Park in California, the Magic Kingdom (in Florida), Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland. The ride features over 300 brightly costumed audio-animatronic dolls in the style of children of the world, frolicking in a spirit of international unity, and singing the attraction's title song, which has a theme of global peace. It's a Small World was created by WED Enterprises as the 1964 New York World's Fair's UNICEF pavilion sponsored by Pepsi. Phantom Manor is an attraction located in Frontierland at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. Sharing a similar theme with the Haunted Mansion attractions at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland, it opened with Euro Disneyland on April 12, 1992. The attraction combines a walk-through portion with Omnimover vehicles called "Doombuggies", and features special effects and Audio-Animatronics. This version of the popular Haunted Mansion rides has a different plotline similar to that of The Phantom of the Opera. It is also designed to be scarier and darker than the other Haunted Mansion rides. The ride also has unique soundtrack not featured in the American and Japanese versions. While planning Euro Disneyland, Tony Baxter, executive designer for Walt Disney Imagineering, decided that certain staple Disney attractions would have to be modified for the new park. The Haunted Mansion was among these, and was given a darker tone than the original attraction. Tarzan's Treehouse is a walk through attraction at Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland. It is styled after the 1999 film Tarzan. In February 1999, Disneyland closed its version of the Swiss Family Treehouse, and Imagineers re-themed the attraction to coincide with the soon to be released Tarzan film. The giant artificial tree received a comprehensive makeover, including 6,000 replacement vinyl leaves, a suspension bridge entrance from a new neighboring tree, and a variety of hands-on interactive features. The tree is currently 70 feet tall and weighs 150 tons. On June 23, 1999, Tarzan’s Treehouse began welcoming park guests, just as Disney’s animated Tarzan premiered in movie theaters. Tributes to the Swiss Family Treehouse are featured in the attraction including the "Mind Thy Head" sign and the "Swisskapolka", which can be heard playing on a vintage gramophone. When Hong Kong Disneyland opened on September 12, 2005 it included Tarzan’s Treehouse built on Tarzan’s Island. Rafts near Festival of the Lion King are used to ferry passengers to and from the island, which is encircled by the Rivers of Adventure. The Skyway was a gondola lift attraction at Disneyland, at the Magic Kingdom, and at Tokyo Disneyland. Since all versions of this attraction took riders back and forth between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, the route from Tomorrowland was called Skyway to Fantasyland, and the route from Fantasyland was called Skyway to Tomorrowland. The Skyway at Disneyland opened on June 23, 1956. It was built by Von Roll, Ltd. based in Bern, Switzerland. It was the first Von Roll Type 101 aerial ropeway in the USA. Walt Disney Imagineering bought the ride from Switzerland. It was a 1947 Vonroll sidechair model. In 1959, a major renovation added The Submarine Voyage, the Disneyland Monorail, the Matterhorn (now a Fantasyland Attraction), and the Motorboat Cruise, but when the Matterhorn was planned it was designed to be built right in the path of the Skyway, so without a single closure of the Skyway, the Matterhorn was built around the Skyway. During the Fantasyland renovation at Disneyland in the mid-1980s, the Skyway made only roundtrips from Tomorrowland. The Wonders of Life pavilion was an attraction at Epcot at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The pavilion was devoted to health and body related attractions. It is located inside a golden colored dome between Mission: SPACE and the Universe of Energy. The pavilion opened on October 19, 1989, and closed on January 1, 2007; and although the space is sometimes used for special events, the attractions within have been closed and partially removed. The idea of a pavilion devoted to health and fitness dates back to the original concept of the EPCOT Center theme park, but no corporate sponsor could be found to cover the costs. It was not until MetLife signed on that the pavilion was finally constructed, and it featured two main attractions: Cranium Command and Body Wars, the first thrill ride located in EPCOT. Also featured was a theater (home to The Making of Me), restaurant and interactive attractions that evolved around the idea of health and wellness. Grizzly River Run is a river rafting ride at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It is similar to Kali River Rapids in Disney's Animal Kingdom and the Shipwreck Rapids ride in SeaWorld. The attraction's name comes from Grizzly Peak, the bear shaped mountain that the rapids flow around. It was built by Intamin. The raft trip around Grizzly Peak begins with the rafts being lifted up a wooden conveyor that runs under leaking pipes that spray water on the riders. Upon reaching the top of the conveyor, the rafts are dropped into the water to descend the peak, passing through a cave and bumping against a log jam. The climax of the ride drops the rafts down into a geyser field. The final drop has a unique element in that the rafts are spun as they begin their descent. As with all flume-type rides, there must be a location to store or drain the water in the upper sections of the flumes when the pumps are shut down. The original plan was to create a large, underground basin beneath Grizzly Peak to hold water. This would have required costly excavation and construction. It's Tough to Be a Bug! is a 9-minute long 3D film based on the Disney·Pixar film, A Bug's Life. The film, created by Rhythm and Hues Studios, is the main component of a theme park attraction at several Walt Disney theme parks. Using theater lighting, 3-D filming techniques, audio-animatronics and various special effects, the show gives the audience an idea of what it would be like to be an insect. Flik, from A Bug's Life, hosts the show and educates the viewer on why bugs shouldn't be seen as pests, but more as friends. The attraction opened in Disney's Animal Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort on April 22, 1998, a full seven months before the actual feature debuted in theaters. It has since opened at Disney California Adventure on February 8, 2001. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, the Bug's Life theater is located inside The Tree of Life. As the queue winds around the tree, visitors can glimpse animal carvings on the tree that aren't visible from other vantage points. The Main Street Cinema is a small movie theater located on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland. The theater plays Disney shorts on six different screens while a recorded musical accompaniment plays. Five of the six shorts are played without sound; these shorts are changed from time to time. The sixth short is always Mickey Mouse's 1928 cartoon classic Steamboat Willie, which is played with its original sound, albeit in an edited version to remove objectionable content, but it does include an introduction prepared for a 1950s reissue reminding the viewer when the short was filmed and opened, and that it is still screening today worldwide (ironically now in an age of digital, DVD, and the internet). In 2010, for the 55th Anniversary of the Park, Opening Day footage was shown.

The Haunted Mansion is a dark ride located at Disneyland, the Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World), and Tokyo Disneyland. Phantom Manor, a significantly re-imagined version of The Haunted Mansion, is located in Disneyland Paris. Each incarnation of the attraction features a ride-through tour of a haunted house in Omnimover vehicles called "Doom Buggies," preceded by a walk-through show in the queue. The attraction showcases a number of age-old tricks, advanced special effects, and spectral Audio-Animatronics. Entering the queuing area through a pair of ornate gates, guests find themselves in the mansion's well-tended gardens and courtyards. The queuing path leads guests past a pet cemetery, a mausoleum with pun names, and a white carriage hearse led by an invisible horse. The path leads guests onto the porch, where they are led into the mansion's foyer by somber house servants. The guests are then ushered into an octagonal portrait gallery and encouraged by the staff to move into the "dead center" of the room. As the wall behind them slides closed, the Ghost Host (voiced by Paul Frees) introduces himself with an eerie voice: “Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion. I am your

Kitchen Kabaret was a 13-minute audio-animatronic show at Epcot, Walt Disney World Resort, USA located in The Land pavilion. Kitchen Kabaret was present on EPCOT's opening day, October 1, 1982. The host, Bonnie Appetite, introduces the acts in a musical review and comedy format that advocated healthy eating and provided a primer on the four food groups: meat, dairy, cereal, and fruits/vegetables. The show was replaced in 1994 by Food Rocks. "Meal Time Blues" by Bonnie Appetite Bonnie sings this at the start of the show. She looks a bit tired. She has cookbooks and her hair wrapped in a bun. The lights turn off, and the next performance comes. "Chase Those (Meal Time) Blues Away" by Bonnie Appetite and the Kitchen Krackpots The Kitchen Krackpots band (containers of ketchup, mayonnaise, a spinning jar of mustard, etc.) play a boisterous ragtime intro, as Bonnie reappears, now in showgirl attire, to "Thank you all for coming to (her) kitchen." The Kitchen Krackpots come out of the floor and reappear in the ending of the show. These animatronics were the first food products to come. The only figure that did not feature atriculated facial features was the mustard jar. "The Stars of the

America Sings was an attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, USA, from 1974 to 1988. It featured a cast of audio-animatronics animals that entertained the audience by singing songs from various periods in America's musical history, often in a humorous fashion. America Sings opened on June 29, 1974, after replacing the General Electric-sponsored Carousel of Progress attraction after that latter show moved to the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in 1973. America Sings used the same Carousel Theater that its predecessor vacated, with its outer ring of six theaters, all connected by divider walls, that revolved mechanically about every four minutes around the six fixed stages in the center of the building. Unlike Disneyland's Carousel of Progress, which rotated clockwise, America Sings rotated in a counter-clockwise direction. Also, unlike Carousel of Progress, America Sings only used the lower level of the Carousel Theater. The upper level was used to house the SuperSpeed Tunnel (which later became the Game Grid of Tron) that the PeopleMover transportation attraction passed through. Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye is a dark ride motion simulator attraction based on the Indiana Jones films. The attraction is currently being refurbished and scheduled to re-open on December 7, 2012. Guests accompany intrepid archeologist Dr. Indiana Jones on a quest for the Jewel of Power through a dangerous lost temple, then board military troop transport vehicles for a turbulent high speed adventure. It premiered at Disneyland to invitation-only celebrities on March 3, 1995, and opened to the general public on March 4, 1995. Tokyo DisneySea hosts Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull, a nearly identical adventure, in Chiba, Japan. (This attraction is not to be confused with the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which was developed and released after the attraction's opening.) Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (English: The Castle of The Beauty Sleeping in the Wood) is a structure that stands at the centre of Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris and is a continuation of Sleeping Beauty Castle first seen at Disneyland in California. The Castle features two parts, a dungeon type area in the base featuring a Audio-Animatronic dragon, and above, a concrete balcony walkthrough area with Sleeping Beauty stained glass windows and tapestries. There are also several shops selling glass figures, ornaments and gifts. Since Europe is home to the castles that inspired the structures at Disney's first three parks, Imagineers reconsidered what kind of edifice would stand at the hub of its first European theme park. Many different concepts were then created and considered, ranging from slightly modified versions of Disney's existing castles to radically new structures to stand instead in the Castle's place (for example a Discoveryland-like tower). The team eventually settled on Imagineer Tom Morris' approach to the established Disney castle. Space Mountain is an indoor outer space-themed steel roller coaster at the Magic Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It opened on January 15, 1975 and is the original version of the iconic attraction that is included in all five of the Disney theme parks worldwide. With the closure of Cypress Gardens in 2009, Space Mountain is the oldest operating roller coaster in the state of Florida. Space Mountain was closed for refurbishment on April 19, 2009. The newly updated version of the attraction was officially re-opened to the public on November 22, 2009.. The Space Mountain concept was a descendant of the first Disney "mountain" attraction, the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland, which opened in 1959. The Matterhorn's success had convinced Walt Disney that thrilling rides did have a place in his park. In 1964, Walt first approached designer John Hench with his idea for a new attraction that would be the focal point of a renovated Tomorrowland planned for 1967. The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha E Komo Mai! is an Audio Animatronics show located in Tokyo Disneyland's Adventureland. It is the fourth incarnation of the Enchanted Tiki Room show and the second to be exclusive to Tokyo Disneyland. The Tiki Room opened in Tokyo Disneyland with the rest of the park on April 15, 1983. It was originally a Japanese version of the original Tiki Room show in Disneyland until 1999, when it was replaced with a new incarnation called "The Enchanted Tiki Room: Now Playing Get The Fever!" This version featured the Tiki Room in a Las Vegas nightclub setting and removed the four host birds from the original show (José, Michael, Pierre, and Fritz), replacing them with four lounge host birds: Danno, Scats, Buddy, and Lava (the first female host bird). The story involved the birds trying to wake up the sleeping Tiki Gods, which was accomplished by Lava singing "Fever" to them. An English demo track of the show was recorded. Get the Fever closed in January 2008 and was replaced on July 25, 2008 with Stitch's Aloha E Komo Mai!, adding Stitch from the Lilo and Stitch series to the show. Sleeping Beauty's Cottage is to be a themed attraction at Magic Kingdom in the Walt Disney World Resort. It will be a walk-through attraction through Princess Aurora's cottage in the Fantasyland, themed to the 1959 film Sleeping Beauty. In September 2009, it was announced at the D23 Expo that Fantasyland would be expanded to incorporate Disney Princess and Disney Fairies characters, along with a larger 3 ring circus-themed Dumbo area. The expansion will require Mickey's Toontown Fair to be demolished, with Mickey and Minnie relocated elsewhere in the park. It was announced that Sleeping Beauty's Cottage would be included as a meet-and-greet with Princess Aurora (aka Briar Rose), like Ariel's Grotto and The Beast's Castle, which is opening at the same time as this attraction. Guests enter Princess Aurora's home and the three good fairies, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather cottage to find the fairies working hard to give Aurora a party for her sixteenth birthday. Guests then make cards, while the fairies show them the dress they made for her. As Aurora enters the cottage, everybody yells "Surprise!" and gives her the cards. Aurora thanks everybody for the cards and begins to read them

The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management), was an updated version of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland, which was an attraction located in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. The Enchanted Tiki Room opened in the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971, as Tropical Serenade. The show was an exact duplicate of the Disneyland attraction, but instead of the pre-show there was a waterfall in place of the Tiki gods, which would open and two Audio-Animatronic toucans would entertain guests. The show was sponsored by Florida Citrus Growers until 1986. The show closed on September 1, 1997 for renovations and updating, re-opening in January 1998 as The Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management, featuring Iago (again voiced by Gilbert Gottfried) and Zazu (voiced here by Michael Gough) from Aladdin and The Lion King, respectively, as the new owners of the Tiki Room. The show features all of the same audio-animatronic birds, flowers and Tiki gods but now includes Iago and Zazu, plus a new evil Tiki goddess named Uh-Oa, who disrupts the usual Enchanted Tiki Room storyline after Iago upsets her. Innoventions is a museum at Epcot in Walt Disney World, Florida. It focuses on technological advancements and their practical applications in everyday life. Innoventions is a portmanteau of the words "innovation" and "invention". Innoventions first opened in 1994 which prominently displayed Sega Genesis, Sega Game Gear, Sega CD, and Sega Pico games in an arcade style. There were some "virtual reality" displays (which was basically more advanced video games at the time). Innoventions in Epcot replaced the original tenant of its two semi-circular buildings, CommuniCore. Epcot's version is divided into two buildings known as Innoventions East and Innoventions West. In 1999, Innoventions had a major renovation for the park's Millennium Celebration, and added the subtitle "The Road to Tomorrow". The major difference between the Fort Wilderness Railroad and the Walt Disney World Railroad in the nearby Magic Kingdom is size. The Fort Wilderness Railroad is built to 4/5 scale with a 30" gauge track compared to the full size 36" gauge track in the Magic Kingdom. The Fort Wilderness Railroad utilized four replica steam locomotives and twenty coaches built by Walt Disney Imagineering. After the railroad was closed, the locomotives were stored for several years, and are today privately owned. Several of the coaches are also still in existence, used as ticket booths at Downtown Disney Pleasure Island and Typhoon Lagoon.

The Fossil Fun Games are a series of carnival/pier style games in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park in Bay Lake, Florida. Near the arcade games are Primeval Whirl and TriceraTop Spin are next to them. It is part of the newest area known as Chester and Hester's DinoRama! Which opened in 2002.

The Maharajah Jungle Trek is a themed wildlife trail attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is in the Asia themed land, the Kingdom of Anandapur. It shares this area with the Kali River Rapids white water raft ride and the Expedition Everest runaway train rollercoaster. The trail is themed as if it had once been the hunting grounds for a wealthy maharajah who enclosed the forest to allow for easier hunting and then some time later died in a hunting accident. The themed storyline continues with subsequent maharajahs (including the original maharajah's bachelor brother) transforming the area into a nature preserve where the villagers live in harmony with the animals therein. These maharajahs are memorialized on the walls of the tiger enclosure. The forest was, at one point, also run by imperial British visitors, as evidenced in the Western spelling on the sign at the entrance to the Jungle Trek, which reads "Royal Anandapoor Forest". The Sailing Ship Columbia, located at the Disneyland park in Anaheim, California, is a full-scale replica of Columbia Rediviva, the first American ship to circumnavigate the globe. Its passengers embark on a scenic, 12-minute journey around the Rivers of America. When it was constructed in 1958, it was the first three-masted windjammer to have been built in the United States in more than 100 years. The Columbia has entertained park visitors for nearly fifty years, including its continued role of Captain Hook's pirate ship in the park's popular Fantasmic show. Passengers wait for the 84-foot-tall (26 m) ship, which departs every 25 minutes, inside a sheltered area called Frontier Landing, located in the Frontierland section of the park. The waiting area, which the 110-foot-long (34 m) Columbia shares with the Mark Twain Riverboat, is made to resemble a real dock, with cargo deliveries sharing space on the dock. Soarin' Over California is a simulator attraction at Disney California Adventure, part of the Disneyland Resort. It debuted with the park on February 8, 2001. The same attraction opened on May 5, 2005, at Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, as Soarin'. The attraction, which lasts about four minutes and 51 seconds, takes 87 guests at a time on a simulated hang glider tour of California, flying over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Redwood Creek in Humboldt County, Napa Valley, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park (including Yosemite Falls and Half Dome), the PGA West golf course in La Quinta (credited in the queue video presentation as Palm Springs), Camarillo, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, San Diego, Malibu, Los Angeles, and Disneyland itself during the Christmas season. The last few scenes transition from daytime to dusk and then to night, culminating in Disneyland's Holiday fireworks surrounding the riders in the nighttime sky. Motor Boat Cruise was an attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Motor Boat Cruise opened in 1957 on the border between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. The waterways of the Motor Boat Cruise shared space with other attractions such the Viewliner train and bridges for Junior Autopia. Major changes took place in 1959 the three attractions in the area. The Viewliner and its little railroad track were gone. Instead, the elevated beam of the new Disneyland Alweg Monorail curved gracefully overhead. The new Fantasyland Autopia and an expanded Tomorrowland Autopia replaced the Junior Autopia. And the lagoon which had once been home to the Phantom Boats (which opened in 1955 and closed forever in 1956) was turned into the crystal clear lagoon of the Submarine Voyage. But instead of joining the Viewliner and the Junior Autopia as mere memories, the Motor Boat Cruise survived. In 1991, as part of the Disney Afternoon Avenue event, the Motor Boat Cruise became the Motor Boat Cruise to Gummi Glen. Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes is a free-floating canoe experience at the Disneyland park in Anaheim, California. Boarding from the park’s Critter Country section, up to twenty visitors paddle a canoe around the Rivers of America, accompanied by two guides. This is the only Disneyland attraction that is powered by park visitors. The attraction originally opened as Indian War Canoes on July 4, 1956 as part of Frontierland’s Indian Village expansion. It also operates under the name of Beaver Brother's Explorer Canoes at Tokyo Disneyland and formerly operated at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World and at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. At the original Disneyland version of the attraction, riders embark and disembark from a small boat dock next to the Hungry Bear restaurant in the Critter Country section of the park. Each 35-foot-long (11 m) fiberglass canoe holds twenty guests, two per row. Each canoe has two guides dressed as frontiersmen (or frontierswomen) at the bow and stern. The Mark Twain Riverboat is an attraction, located at the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California, on which passengers embark on a scenic, 12-minute journey around the Rivers of America. The Boneyard Playground is a playground located at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park in the USA. It was a premier attraction when DinoLand U.S.A., opened in 1998. Cinderella's Chateau is a themed attraction at Magic Kingdom in the Walt Disney World Resort. It is a walkthrough attraction in the Fantasyland section, themed to the 1950 film Cinderella. In September 2009, it was announced at the D23 Expo that Fantasyland would be expanded to incorporate Disney Princess and Disney Fairies characters, along with a larger 3 ring circus-themed Dumbo area. The expansion will require Mickey's Toontown Fair to be demolished, with Mickey and Minnie's houses relocated elsewhere in the park. It was announced that Cinderella's Chateau would be included as a meet-and-greet with Cinderella, like The Beast's Castle and Sleeping Beauty's Cottage, which are both opening at the same time as this attraction. Guests meet Cinderella outside of her house. She wears her old scullery maid clothes, while her stepmother and stepsisters are in the house. The Fairy Godmother uses her wand to give Cinderella her beautiful blue dress for the ball, and even glass slippers. Cinderella then asks the guests to help her prepare for the ball by practicing to dance with her.

Mickey's Fun Wheel is a 160-foot (48.8 m) tall Ferris wheel at Disney California Adventure, at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The ride was inspired by Coney Island's 1927 Wonder Wheel at Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park. Both attractions feature swinging and stationary gondolas while Mickey's Fun Wheel has a large Mickey Mouse face in the center. The attraction was formerly known as the Sun Wheel (February 8, 2001 - October 14, 2008). Mickey's Fun Wheel was expected to open April 24, 2009, but due to delays the attraction opened May 4, 2009. This renovation is a part of the new Paradise Pier placemaking including the Silly Symphony Swings, World of Color, Goofy's Sky School, The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Games of the Boardwalk retheming, the removal of Maliboomer, and enhancements on California Screamin'. Mickey's Fun Wheel is an eccentric wheel, differing from conventional Ferris wheels in that 16 of its 24 gondolas ride on interior rails so that they slide inward and outward as the wheel rotates. The Tree of Life is a 145-foot (44 m) artificial tree, the icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom since it opened on April 22, 1998. Engineered from a refitted oil platform, it is located on Discovery Island, roughly in the center of the park. Its leaves are made out of Kynar. On the exterior are carved images of 325 animals. Under the Tree is a theatre featuring It's Tough to be a Bug!, a 3-D film hosted by Flik, from Disney·Pixar's A Bug's Life. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (or for short Big Thunder Mountain) is an indoor/outdoor mine train roller coaster located in Frontierland at several Disneyland-style Disney Parks worldwide. The ride exists at Disneyland Park (California) and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and at Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park (Paris) as Big Thunder Mountain. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is also the name of the fictional rail line the roller coaster depicts. Although the details of the backstory vary from park to park, all follow the same general story arcs. Some time in the late 1800s, gold was discovered on Big Thunder Mountain in the American southwest. Overnight, the small mining town of Rainbow Ridges (at Disneyland), Tumbleweed (at the Magic Kingdom), or Thunder Mesa (at Disneyland Paris) became a thriving mining town. Mining was prosperous, and an extensive line of mine trains was set up to transport the ore. Unknown to the settlers, the Mountain was a sacred spot to local Native Americans and was cursed. The Red Car Trolley is a transportation attraction at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Construction began on January 4, 2010 and the attraction opened on June 15, 2012 as part of the re-dedication of the park. The attraction features replicas of the Pacific Electric Railway's "Red Cars" that once traversed much of Southern California, and provides transportation between the park's main entry at Buena Vista Street and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Hollywood Land. The trolley was built by Brookville Equipment in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Brookville Equipment are builders of high-speed locomotives and restorers of classic trolley cars. The Red Car Trolley line has four stops throughout Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Land.

Stitch's Great Escape! is a Tomorrowland attraction at the Magic Kingdom theme park within the Walt Disney World Resort. It is a "theater-in-the-round" experience starring the title alien from Walt Disney Pictures' 2002 animated comedy Lilo & Stitch. It opened November 16, 2004 and is the fourth attraction to occupy the site in Tomorrowland. Many of the animators who worked on Lilo & Stitch partnered with Walt Disney Imagineering for Stitch's Great Escape! The experience takes place in the Galactic Federation Prisoner Teleport Center. Guests have been recruited by The Grand Councilwoman to be guards for the Galactic Federation. After being taught the basic procedures of guard duty and the classification of prisoner hazard levels by Sergeant 90210 (and a brief, but comical, reprisal of Skippy from The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter), Captain Gantu gives an alert of a Level 3 prisoner being beamed to the Center. Guests are then instructed by Pleakley over a communicator to proceed to the Level 3 prisoner teleportation chamber. Circle-Vision 360° is a film technique, refined by The Walt Disney Company, that uses nine cameras for nine huge screens arranged in a circle. The cameras are usually mounted on top of an automobile for scenes through cities and highways, while films such as The Timekeeper use a static camera and many CGI effects. The first film was America the Beautiful (1955 version) in the Circarama theater, which would eventually become Circle-Vision theater in 1967. It is used for a few attractions at Disney theme parks, such as Epcot's O Canada!, Reflections of China, and Disneyland's defunct America the Beautiful (1967 version), Wonders of China, and American Journeys, which were housed in the Circle-Vision theater in Tomorrowland. Impressions de France (Impressions of France) is a movie about France, the featured attraction in the France Pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase at Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The movie is projected onto five adjacent screens, giving 220° coverage, resembling Circle-Vision 360°. Impressions de France, which has been playing since the opening day of the Epcot park in 1982, is a travelogue of the French countryside, major cities, various regions, and important structures. The film, set a musical score written by Buddy Baker (composer), encompasses the music of classical French composers such as Claude Debussy and Camille Saint-Saëns. The film, itself, is the work of director Rick Harper and produced by two-time Academy Award nominee Bob Rogers (designer). The film's aerial views, mixed with closer views, includes, among other things, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe, the French Alps, Versailles, scenes from Cannes, Notre Dame de Paris, and scenes from Normandy. Pinocchio's Daring Journey is a dark ride at the Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park (Paris) theme parks. Located in Fantasyland, this ride is based on Disney's animated film version of the classic story, which was the studio's second animated feature film. Stromboli's marionette show is also featured in the attraction, in which guests are inside a giant cage. The version in Disneyland was the first attraction created by Disney to use holographic material, which appears on hand held mirror, in the scene where the boys turn into donkeys on Pleasure Island. The Pepper's Ghost illusion (used extensively in the Haunted Mansion) is used when the Blue Fairy disappears, leaving a pile of fiber-optic fairy dust on the floor. In 1976, it was decided to remove the old Fantasyland Theater in Disneyland and shoehorn a Pinocchio dark ride into it. Alice's Curious Labyrinth is a hedge maze attraction at the Disneyland Park within Disneyland Paris. It opened in 1992 with the Park, and belongs to the British part of Fantasyland. The hedge maze is themed around scenes and characters from the Disney 1951 feature Alice in Wonderland. It comprises two sections: the first one with some of Alice's adventures prior to meeting the Queen of Hearts, and the second based on Alice's encounter with the Queen, who had a similar labyrinth in the film. The goal of the maze is to reach the Queen of Hearts's Castle, where one can obtain an aerial view of the Fantasyland section of the park. One can exit the maze prior to entering the second area, and the maze's route is similar in shape to the body of the Cheshire Cat, with a semi-floral recreation of the character's face adjacent to the attraction. The first and easiest part of the Labyrinth focuses on Alice's journey through Wonderland. It starts with guests entering the White Rabbit's Hole, and arriving in a wood featuring strange animals, doors of various sizes (for instance some can only be opened by children), and several panels with conflicting directions. ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter (often abbreviated Alien Encounter) was a "theater-in-the-round" attraction in the Tomorrowland section of the Magic Kingdom themepark at Walt Disney World Resort. It was a darkly humorous science-fiction experience that used binaural sound to achieve many of its effects. A warning outside the attraction's entrance alerted guests that it was intense and unintended for children under the age of 12. It opened briefly for previews on December 16, 1994, on the site of the former Mission to Mars attraction, but was ordered closed on January 12, 1995 for retooling by then-Disney CEO Michael Eisner who deemed it was not intense enough. It opened officially on June 20, 1995 as part of the Magic Kingdom's New Tomorrowland. It closed permanently on October 12, 2003. The attraction was replaced by Stitch's Great Escape!, which uses much of the same technology and set pieces. It was a two-person Omnimover dark ride in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom, sponsored by Eastern Air Lines. The ride featured travel destinations throughout the Caribbean and elsewhere, all of which were, in keeping with the ride's sponsorship, serviced by Eastern. The ride had an eponymous theme song by Buddy Baker. If You Had Wings was located across from what originally was Flight To The Moon but later became Mission to Mars. It was free, when admission tickets were required of rides in the park. If You Had Wings was an undisguised promotion for the then-giant Eastern Air Lines. Eastern's initial investment in the ride was reportedly $10 million. If You Had Wings was a four-and-a-half-minute dark ride based on Disney's Omnimover system. Versions of Autopia exist at Anaheim, California, Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France, and at Hong Kong Disneyland on Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Other versions of the attraction can be found at the Magic Kingdom as the Tomorrowland Speedway and at Tokyo Disneyland as the Grand Circuit Raceway. The name Autopia is a portmanteau of the words "automobile utopia," which was popularized in academic circles by British architecture critic Reyner Banham to describe Los Angeles in his 1971 book "Los Angeles: The Architecture of Four Ecologies." Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, or Cars Race Rally, is an attraction at Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée. The attraction opened on June 9, 2007 as part of the park's expansion land, Toon Studio. The attraction's theme is based on the characters and scenes from the 2006 Disney·Pixar film Cars and the ride opened one year after the film showed its first screening. The attraction's setting is the small town of Radiator Springs (located in Toon Studio). The attraction's station is themed to a car service station located in the desert. The attraction is surrounded by boulders which imitates the rocky formations of the Grand Canyon. The ride system is actually a highly themed Zamperla Demolition Derby. Riders begin the attraction by sitting down in one of the generic car-shaped vehicles. The vehicles are located on one of the four spinning plateaus. The attraction's layout is similar to "Francis' Ladybug Boogie" attraction at Disney California Adventure Park and the "Whirlpool" at Tokyo DisneySea, as the vehicles automatically change from one spinning plateau to the next. The ride is based on the successful Star Wars film series created by George Lucas; it was the first Disney attraction based on a non-Disney produced film. The first incarnation of the ride appeared in Tomorrowland at Disneyland in 1987, replacing the previous attraction, Adventure Thru Inner Space. Star Tours at Disneyland closed on July 27, 2010 to allow for the conversion to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. Disney's Hollywood Studios closed its attraction on September 7, 2010 in anticipation of the same conversion which was completed on May 20, 2011. Tokyo Disneyland's Star Tours closed on April 2, 2012, to make way for Star Tours: The Adventures Continue which will open in Spring 2013. The Great Movie Ride is an attraction at Walt Disney World's Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. It is a dark ride which takes guests through scenes from famous films throughout motion picture history. The ride is located inside a recreation of the famous Hollywood landmark Grauman's Chinese Theatre. The queue winds through a recreation of the Chinese Theatre lobby past glass display cases containing actual costumes, props, and set pieces from various films. The queue then takes guests into a small pre-show theatre where guests view a series of condensed film trailers for the various films that are featured on the ride. The queue line ends at a pair of automatic doors at the front of the theatre that lead into a 1930s era Hollywood soundstage where guests are loaded onto waiting ride vehicles. As guests reach the end of the queue, they enter a 1930s-era Hollywood sound stage where they are loaded by cast members into one of two sets of open, theatre-style seating ride vehicles. The vehicles utilize a "traveling theatre"-style ride system similar to the Universe of Energy attraction at Epcot. Demon Jungle (Chinese: 森魔詭域) was an exclusive attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland in Hong Kong for the Disney's Haunted Halloween event, which was located in Adventureland. It was a haunted walk-through attraction which features living haunts and specters appearing at every corner. Demon Jungle was the latest addition of the haunted experience for the Disney's Haunted Halloween event in 2008. It replaced by The Revenge of the Headless Horseman in the 2011 Halloween season beginning from 22 September 2011.

Pirates of the Caribbean is a Disney-made log flume themed dark ride at Disneyland Park, Walt Disney World Resort Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. This was the last attraction which Walt Disney himself participated in designing; it opened three months after his death, in the spring of 1967. It was originally envisioned to be a walk-through wax museum attraction. It is located within the New Orleans Square portion of Disneyland, its facade evoking antebellum era New Orleans, topped by a 31-star United States flag (which would indicate the 1850s). The ornate initials of Walt Disney and Roy Disney (W.D. and R.D.) can be seen entwined in the wrought iron railings above the attraction's entrance at Disneyland. An overhead sign at the boat dock names it for the famous pirate Jean Lafitte (although his name is misspelled Laffite), who fought alongside the U.S. Army at the Battle of New Orleans in the War of 1812. The second floor of the facade was originally designed to be a private Disney family apartment. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a dark ride based upon the film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, itself based on the Winnie-the-Pooh books by A. A. Milne. The attraction exists in slightly different forms at the Magic Kingdom in the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland. Pooh's Hunny Hunt, located in Tokyo Disneyland, is an entirely different "E-ticket class" attraction, featuring full audio animatronics and an innovative 'trackless' ride system. After the rise in popularity of Walt Disney's film adaptation of Winnie the Pooh, Disney Imagineers made plans in the late 1970s for a Winnie the Pooh attraction at Disneyland's soon-to-be renovated Fantasyland. However in 1983, when the renovated Fantasyland reopened, a Winnie the Pooh attraction was notably absent. Following the success of the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, plans were made for a new section of the park located behind Fantasyland. Called Mickey's Toontown, this section of the park would recreate the Toontown that was seen in the film. One of the rides that would have gone on the east side of this land was a Winnie the Pooh dark ride in which guests would ride in "spinnable"

Alice in Wonderland is a dark ride in Fantasyland at Disneyland park. Based on the animated Disney adaptation of the same name, the attraction resides next to a second ride, the Mad Tea Party, based on a scene in that same adaptation. The presence of two rides based on the film is unusual in that Walt Disney said he regretted making it because it lacked a connection to the audience's hearts. In 1983, the ride was updated as part of an overall refurbishment of Fantasyland, as the Upside-Down and Oversized Rooms were eliminated and the Mad Hatter's unbirthday scene was moved to the very end of the ride. A new narration track by Kathryn Beaumont, the original voice of Alice, was recorded. To create more unified theming in Fantasyland, the Mad Tea Party attraction was relocated at the rear of Fantasyland to a spot adjacent to the Alice in Wonderland ride that same year. The Alice in Wonderland, however, did not reopen until 1984, one year after the rest of the new Fantasyland opened. The ride was temporarily closed on July 15, 2010 after California's Department of Occupational Safety and Health pointed out that it needed handrails on the second floor outdoor portion of the ride.[1] The

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel (formerly Cinderella's Golden Carrousel) is an authentic carousel ride at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. Similar attractions under varying names can be found at two other Disney Parks including Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland. This 90-horse carousel plays organ-based Disney classics during the two-minute ride period. Hand painted scenes from Disney's Cinderella can be seen on the ride. The carousel was originally built by The Philadelphia Toboggan Company, one of the most prestigious carousel companies, in 1917. In 1967, Walt Disney purchased the handmade carousel (and horses) from the Olympic Park in Maplewood, New Jersey. The original name of the carousel was Liberty, and the maidens can still be seen on the top of the carousel. Every horse is different. It was the first daily operating monorail in the Western Hemisphere, and the first in the United States. However, the monorail came about during a time when America's—and particularly Los Angeles'—love affair with the automobile was increasing, and monorails in the United States came to be associated only with Disney's theme parks. At the Magic Kingdom, Mickey's Toontown Fair initially opened as Mickey's Birthdayland on June 18, 1988. It became Mickey's Starland on May 26, 1990, and Mickey's Toontown Fair on October 1, 1996. Its storyline portrayed the land as the holiday home for the characters who reside at Mickey's Toontown in California. Silly Symphony Swings is a "wave swinger" attraction in Paradise Pier, at Disney California Adventure, at the Disneyland Resort in California. Themed to Disney's The Band Concert conductor Mickey Mouse conducts the attraction from high atop, synchronized with the music. Although "The Band Concert" was not part of the 'Silly Symphonies' film series, the name was applied to the attraction due to its apparent symphony storyline. Closely following the plot of "The Band Concert" the main column of the ride rises revealing a tornado which spins the riders to the tune of the William Tell Overture and William Tell's "Storm". Once the tornado safely passes, the music comes to an end and the ride slows and lowers riders to the ground. It is speculated that the new voice of the Silly Symphony Swings is that of the fictitious Mr. Tinkershmidt, the supposed new owner of Paradise Pier. Tinkershmidt and the Silly Symphony Swings update is part of the multi-year, $1.1 billion (US) expansion plan for Disney's California Adventure Park. The Submarine Voyage was an attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The attraction, which featured ride vehicles designed to look like Navy nuclear submarines, opened on June 14, 1959 as the Submarine Voyage (one of the first rides to require an E ticket). Part of a major expansion of Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, which also included the Matterhorn Bobsleds roller coaster, an expanded version of Autopia, the Disneyland Monorail, and the Motor Boat Cruise, the attraction was originally planned to feature glass-bottom boats. It closed on September 9, 1998, with then-Disneyland president Paul Pressler promising that a new attraction would open in 2003 (purportedly based on Disney’s 2001 animated feature Atlantis: The Lost Empire, a box-office failure); it never did. The UFO Zone is an aquatic-attraction at Tomorrowland in Hong Kong Disneyland. It is located in a former open rest area, which is next to the Space Mountain. The attraction itself is themed as if it were created through an invasion of aliens, the outdoor facility consists of "water ray guns" and other water features designed to cool down guests. It was open along with Autopia and Stitch Encounter. They were open as part of the first expansion of Hong Kong Disneyland after its opening in September, 2005.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Play It! was an attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly Disney-MGM Studios) theme park at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida and Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California. The attraction was a modified version of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire television game show. The attraction's theater was a replica of the television show. Sessions of the game ran several times a day; each session was 25 minutes long (but did wait until the current contestant vacated the hot seat to stop) and seated 647 park guests. The Disney park version of the game differed from the television version in several ways: Upon correctly answering each question, the player received a collectible lapel pin with the attraction's logo and question point value. Various other prizes were awarded at milestone questions. The chart below references all the prizes obtained by achieving each milestone. No cash prize was awarded. In the early days of the attractions, contestants would also receive a copy of the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" CD-ROM game upon correctly answering the 32,000 point question. CinéMagique is a theatre show at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris mixing the live performance of an actor with synchronized movie scenes on a big screen. The attraction opened with the park on March 16, 2002 and stars Martin Short and Julie Delpy. The show begins with a castmember reciting an opening spiel regarding the nature of the show : “Today, you are going to see a movie on the history of cinema spanning from silent films to today's modern films.” The movie starts playing a montage of early black-and-white films. After a few moments, a cell phone ring is heard, and a man in the front rows answers it. He eludes the castmember and walks on the stage while talking. Meanwhile, the love scene on screen between a Prince and a Princess is interrupted by this man's noisy conversation. The angered Prince attempts to stop him, but is unable to reach him due to the movie screen. He then enlists the help of a nearby Magician to silence him. This Magician executes a magic trick which makes the man disappear from the stage in a plume of smoke, and reappear inside the movie (here portrayed by Martin Short). Short's character (known as "George") seems unable to recover from his

Delta Dreamflight (June 23, 1989 – June 4, 1996) was an attraction located in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom inside the Walt Disney World Resort, and was sponsored by Delta Air Lines. Dreamflight replaced an attraction called If You Could Fly, which was originally the attraction, If You Had Wings, sponsored by Eastern Air Lines. Dreamflight used the same basic Omnimover ride system that other Disney rides utilize today. Dreamflight was a pop-up book version of the history of flight using simplistic sets, some Audio-Animatronics and projection effects. Riders passed through scenes of barnstormers, an M-130, Tokyo and Paris in the 1930s, the jet age, and the future of air travel, and appeared to enter a working jet engine. Guests entered the building into a small queue designed to look like an airport boarding terminal. The front-end nose and cockpit of an actual Delta 767 was situated on the left entering the queue, "passengers" appearing as though they were actually boarding a jetliner. The Delta jet was marked as "The Spirit of Delta" in bright gold. As you made your way into the queue opposite the jet, you entered a terminal gate with posters on the wall that included many

Flik's Flyers is a spinner ride at Flik's Fun Fair inside a bug's land at Disney's California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Guests ride in Flik's bug-made contraption fashioned from man-made objects. The vehicles appear to have been fashioned from used food containers and have been stitched together by leaves and twigs to become “balloons” that whirl around a pie plate centerpiece. Also, the wait time sign looks like a button. Whirring, cranking gears are heard as they leave the ground. They can provide a great view fo the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. They go quite fast and then the "fabulous flyers" depart. Flik's Flyers is similar to "Blowfish Balloon Race" at Tokyo DisneySea.

Primeval Whirl is a steel wild mouse roller coaster at Disney's Animal Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort. The ride is an "off the shelf" spinning roller coaster purchased from Reverchon Industries. The ride is part of Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama, which is itself part of DinoLand U.S.A. It is a roller coaster in the "Mild But Wild Thrills" category. It has cars that spin in circles while traveling on tracks, permitting the ride experience to vary greatly each time it is ridden. The ride features 13 cars, each seating up to 4 riders. The ride is lightly themed, with decorations related to time travel and to the meteor which is believed to have caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. This gives the coaster a storyline very similar to that of the nearby dark ride, DINOSAUR. Similar to Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom, Primeval Whirl is actually two roller coasters with identical layouts, but facing opposite directions. On Monday, March 14, 2011, 52-year-old Russell Sherry Roscoe, a Disney Cast Member, died at Orlando Regional Medical Center after suffering a head trauma while working on The Little Dip section of the ride the previous day. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin is a dark ride at the Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland theme parks. The ride is based on the 1988 Academy Award-winning film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Both versions of the attraction are located in Mickey's Toontown. The Disneyland version opened on January 24, 1994, a year after the Mickey's Toontown area opened, and the Tokyo Disneyland version opened on April 15, 1996. Roger Rabbit was recognized as a lucrative character by Disney after the release of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and an ambitious set of attractions based on the movie were developed for many Disney theme parks. Roger Rabbit was even set to be the star of his own land, behind Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland, called Hollywoodland. Meanwhile, over at the Magic Kingdom, a new land behind Fantasyland was being developed in honor of Mickey Mouse's sixtieth birthday, aptly named Mickey's Birthdayland. There were also set to be attractions based on Roger Rabbit, Judge Doom, and Baby Herman opening in a major expansion at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Tokyo Disneyland, but after the financial disaster of the Euro Disney Resort, plans were dramatically cut back with only Disneyland and Tokyo

Gadget's Go Coaster is a roller coaster at the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California and Tokyo Disneyland theme park, located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo. The ride is based on the work of the popular character Gadget Hackwrench from the 1989 Walt Disney Television Animation cartoon, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers. Gadget herself can be seen on top of a small weathervane on a building towards Chip and Dale's Tree House. Both versions of the attraction are located in Mickey's Toontown, and the Disneyland version opened January 23, 1993, along with the Mickey's Toontown area. The Tokyo Disneyland version opened on April 15, 1996. This is the only remaining Disneyland ride to be based on a Disney Afternoon television series. It should also be noted that the ride debuted three years after the cartoon was canceled. When riders walk up to the front entrance, they see the sign for Gadget's "squirrel-made" coaster out of random items. Above the loading dock is a portrait of the rescue ranger on a postage stamp. Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril (French for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril) is a roller coaster attraction at Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris. It opened on July 30, 1993. Based on the Indiana Jones films, guests are taken on an adventure riding in a mining train through a lost temple. The attraction was sponsored by Esso. Years before Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril opened on July 30, 1993, an Indiana Jones themed attraction had been on the drawing boards, but due to Euro Disney Resort's ongoing financial difficulties, the attraction was retooled. Originally, guests would have been able to experience a full-scale Indiana Jones land-within-a-land, featuring a huge mine cart roller coaster based on the famous sequence from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The ride would have taken guests through wild jungles, around the lost temple and inside a large showbuilding for the mine chase scenes. Rumours often circulate of other attractions to have been included in the area, such as Disneyland's EMV (enhanced motion vehicle) Indiana Jones Adventure and a new Jungle Exploration attraction based on the classic Jungle Cruise. Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek is a dark ride attraction at Tokyo Disneyland. It is based on the 2001 Disney·Pixar film Monsters, Inc. The attraction can be found at the entrance of Tomorrowland under the guise of the Monsters, Inc. scare factory from the film. Taking place long after the events of the film, the factory's new slogan has been changed from "We Scare Because We Care" to "It's Laughter We're After." Various posters posted along the exterior of the factory inform guests about "Flashlight Tag," an upcoming activity that is fun for the whole family. Once inside the factory, an instructional video is presented to guests on the premise of flashlight tag, narrated by Mike Wasowski. After learning how to play, guests are sent into security vehicles that have been equipped with individual flashlights. Once they have boarded, the vehicles take off and enter the inner sanctums of the factory. Sulley has brought Boo back to Monstropolis in hopes that she will join in the flashlight festivities. Although it seems as if Boo is interested, she giggles naughtily, intending to go exploring rather than playing. Sulley warns her not to go off to far, but Boo simply responds by giggling.

Mulholland Madness was a Wild Mouse roller coaster at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The attraction's name came from the famed Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, California, named after the famed engineer William Mulholland. This car themed mouse-style coaster was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, and was built by Mack GmbH. The ride vehicles were themed to the many cars one can find on the Southern California freeway systems, (such as Highway Patrol cars or Classic Surfer "Woodies"). The track included several sharp turns and sudden drops. At the end of the ride, a sign on the wall above read "Rental Car Return". This attraction had both Fastpass and single rider lines. As part of the park's major refurbishment, Mulholland Madness closed on October 12, 2010 for refurbishment and re-theming. The attraction is scheduled to reopen on July 1, 2011. When it reopens, it will be renamed Goofy's Sky School as part of the park's attempt to introduce classic Disney characters into Paradise Pier, the land in which the attraction resides.

The PeopleMover, sometimes referred to as the WEDWay PeopleMover, was a transport attraction that operated from July 2, 1967 to August 21, 1995 in Tomorrowland at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Guests boarded small trains that ran on elevated tracks for a "grand circle tour" above Tomorrowland. A second PeopleMover, known as the WEDway PeopleMover, of a somewhat different design, opened at the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Florida in 1975, and operated from 1994 to 2009 as the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. The name was changed to "Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover" on August 5, 2010, but it is still operating. The term "people mover," now in wider use to describe many forms of normally automated public transport, was first coined as the name for this attraction. PeopleMover was originally only a working title but became attached to the project over time. Originally the attraction was seen as a serious prototype for intra-city public transport. The attraction's vehicles were always moving. Passengers boarded and alighted by a large speed-matched rotating platform inside the station. The trains were not powered by motors within themselves, but rather by being

Food Rocks was an attraction at Epcot's The Land pavilion presented by Nestlé in the Walt Disney World Resort. It was a musical stage show, with audio-animatronic figures. The show was themed as a benefit concert for good nutrition hosted by Fud Wrapper, who was voiced by real-life rapper Tone Loc. However, the show was continually interrupted by the Excess, a junk food heavy metal band that detests nutrition. In the end, Excess lost their power as Fud Wrapper exclaimed. "No power, you guys have been unplugged. There's plenty of foods out there that are good to eat, but remember, always eat with moderation". The Audio-Animatronic characters were food items with human features. The music was based on popular songs by well-known performers, with lyrics adapted to the topic of nutrition. For example, "The Peach Boys", singing "Good Nutrition", was based on The Beach Boys' song "Good Vibrations". Five of these acts used the voices of the parodied musicians themselves: Tone Loc, Neil Sedaka, Little Richard, The Pointer Sisters, and Chubby Checker. O Canada! is a Circle-Vision 360° movie. It is an attraction at the Canada Pavilion at the Epcot World Showcase at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Its name derives from Canada's national anthem. It showcases many images of Canada's cities and sights, including Quebec, Ontario, the RCMP Musical Ride, the Calgary Stampede, Vancouver and Vancouver Harbour, the Ottawa River, and more. The movie was filmed mostly during 1981 and has been in continuous exhibition since that time, with an updated version released in 2007. The attraction was inspired by the popular Circle-Vision 360° documentary film Canada '67, shown at the Telephone pavilion during Expo 67, created by Canadian film director Robert Barclay. The Disney version was described by Barclay as "a superficial, glib look at the country". 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage was an attraction at the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World Resort from 1971 through 1994. In 1959, an ambitious expansion of Tomorrowland in Disneyland was completed, which included the addition of new attractions, including the Matterhorn Bobsleds, Monorail, and Submarine Voyage. "Commissioned" on the June 6, 1959, in front of Richard Nixon, Walt Disney and his wife Lillian, and officers of the US Navy, the attraction made use of early animatronics to create underwater life, and the use of forced perspective to increase the feeling of realism. Eight submarines painted in Cold War-friendly grey took guests through the attraction, which took place in a lagoon visible from Tomorrowland and a large show building hidden behind two waterfalls. It became extremely popular with guests, and Walt Disney Imagineering consequently planned for more elaborate version for the forthcoming Florida Project concept, which would become Walt Disney World. The Astro Orbiter is a rocket-spinner attraction featured at all five Magic Kingdom-style parks at Walt Disney Resorts around the world. Although each ride may have a different name, all share the same premise of rockets spinning around a central monument. As each form of the attraction appeared, new designs and locations have been implemented to fit with changing schemes of several Tomorrowlands. In 1956, the first rocket-spinner attraction opened at Disneyland and was known as the Astro Jets. The attraction was made by Klaus Company Bavaria and similar to several versions found in traveling carnivals. The "jets" made a 50-foot circle around a large red-checkered rocket and guests were able climb upwards of 36 feet in their ride vehicles from the ground level they were boarded at. The attraction stood between the Submarine Voyage and Rocket to the Moon. The name Astro Jets was changed in 1964 when United Airlines, as a new park sponsor (sponsoring "The Enchanted Tiki Room"), contended the name was free advertising for American Airlines' coast-to-coast Astrojet service. Mission: Space (stylized as Mission: SPACE) is a motion simulator thrill ride at Epcot. It simulates what an astronaut might experience aboard a spacecraft on a mission to Mars, from the higher g-force of blastoff to the speculative hypersleep. The attraction opened to the public in a "soft opening" mode in June 2003, and celebrated its grand opening on October 9 with a ceremony attended by Disney CEO Michael Eisner, HP CEO Carly Fiorina and NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe, as well as several NASA astronauts from its many phases of human space exploration (Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, the space shuttle program and two crew members aboard the International Space Station). The attraction was built on the former site of Horizons, a dark ride that offered optimistic visions of what life might be like in the future. Horizons closed permanently in 1999 after a few years of sporadic operation; construction began on Mission: Space shortly thereafter. Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland opened with the park on April 15, 1983. It was the first version of Space Mountain to open concurrently with the park. As with the other Space Mountains, this version is also highly popular with young adults and roller coaster fans. Along with its Walt Disney World counterpart, it is currently one of the only Space Mountains without an on-board soundtrack. From its opening in 1983 and until late 2006, Tokyo Disneyland's Space Mountain was an almost exact clone of Disneyland's Space Mountain as it had opened in 1977. Apart from some outside architectural elements (absence of the Space Stage and Peoplemover track) with the exception of both having the same shape and dimensions, the interior was the same, although there were some different effects (the tractor beam light on the second lift hill changed during the climb, and the re-entry effect was a blue hexagonal pattern). The track layouts, rocket designs, and original special effects and elements were the same as its Californian counterpart. The Casey Jr. Circus Train is an attraction found at Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. Based on the train of the same name from the 1941 film Dumbo, it gives passengers a tour of many miniature versions of classic Disney animated film scenes. This tour is similar to the one given on the slower paced Storybook Land Canal Boats, but does not incorporate narration. The attraction was opened two weeks later than Disneyland due to testing. Casey Jr. Circus Train at Disneyland Paris is designed as a roller coaster for small children through Storybook Land, giving riders good views of the Storybook Land castle and other scenes that are not as visible from the Storybook Land Canal Boats. The Disneyland Skyway would pass over part of the Casey Junior Circus Train track.

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is an attraction located in the Tomorrowland area of Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, which opened on June 11, 2007. Based on the characters and settings of the 2003 Disney/Pixar film, Finding Nemo, the attraction is a re-theming of the classic Submarine Voyage attraction that closed in 1998. The original Submarine Voyage thru Liquid Space was built in 1959 as part of the "new" Tomorrowland. It closed on September 9, 1998. At that time, Disneyland president Paul Pressler promised that the attraction would reopen with a new theme by 2003. One of the first attempts to resurrect the subs was contingent on the success of the 2001 Disney animated film Atlantis: The Lost Empire. However, when Atlantis flopped, an "Atlantis"-themed photo spot was placed in front of the lagoon and plans for an Atlantis re-theming were shelved. The lagoon became a scenic viewpoint. The submarines were stored, unmaintained, inside the show building. Pressler left, and the attraction's announced 2003 reopening date passed without action. Rocket Jets was an attraction in Disneyland at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. This attraction opened in 1967 with the new Tomorrowland and closed in 1997 for the 1998 New Tomorrowland. It was the third spinning rocket attraction in Tomorrowland and stood three stories above the ground. When Tomorrowland was redone for 1998, the Rocket Jets were replaced by a new attraction based on Orbitron at the entrance to Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park Paris. The Rocket Jets remained in their place above the former PeopleMover station as the Observatron, a sculpture that was intended to spin and play music every fifteen minutes. The rockets were replaced by satellite dishes and the Saturn V rocket in the center was replaced by a laser-beam. However, the Observatron often malfunctioned, as the machinery was built to operate more frequently and to carry the rockets, rather than the satellite dishes they were replaced with. It appeared to have mechanical issues, sometimes only playing music every 15 minutes, or not doing anything at all. In late 2006, the Observatron received much needed maintenance which allows the Observatron to now rotate every 15 minutes while playing its music

Space Mountain at Hong Kong Disneyland in Hong Kong is the fifth version of the outer space-themed enclosed roller coaster in Disney parks. The newest Space Mountain (not counting the four recent refurbishments of the Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, and Magic Kingdom) is based on the refurbished Space Mountain at Disneyland, with a similar soundtrack and the same layout. It also features new show elements not presented in the refurbished California version (i.e. a "hyperspeed" tunnel). It will not feature the Rockin' Space Mountain configuration that was featured in Disneyland's Space Mountain in 2007. Unlike most Space Mountains, the boarding area for the attraction is quite small. Not present is a Space Station of its two most similar counterparts at Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland. Instead a dark queue featuring neon earth-tone colored planets along with star patterns decorate the area. Lining the walls of the station are colored neon light bars that are used for lighting and decoration. Stitch's Supersonic Celebration was a live stage show featuring Stitch performed in the Tomorrowland section of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. The show featured a host named Tip Trendo, supposedly a on the scene reporter for the Tomorrowland News Network (TNN). There were also two female backup dancers (Celestia and Sonora), as well as two robots. The star, however, was Stitch, initially on a video screen and then in costumed form. The Stitch character on the video screen was able to interact with guests, using the same technology as in Turtle Talk with Crush, an interactive show inside The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Disney's Epcot theme park. During "Stitch's Supersonic Celebration", guests celebrated "Galaxy Day" by singing and dancing along to an odd mixture of popular music, including Elvis tunes, The Future Has Arrived from Meet the Robinsons and "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'". The show debuted May 6, 2009 and closed after a final performance on June 27, 2009, only a six week run. Storybook Land Canal Boats is an attraction located at the Disneyland and Disneyland Park (Paris) theme parks. Passengers embark on a leisurely-paced outdoor boat ride through a winding canal featuring settings from Disney animated films recreated in miniature. The Disneyland version was one of the original attractions when the park opened on July 17, 1955, although the miniature buildings and landscaping were not added until the following year. The version in Disneyland Park, Disneyland Paris, is named Le Pays des Contes de Fées and opened in the spring of 1994. The ride's concept dates back to Walt Disney's plans for a small park across the street from his Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. This modestly scaled, never-built amusement park was to include a gravity flow canal boat ride among its attractions. When plans for the much grander Disneyland were being made, there was to be a "Lilliputianland", inspired by Madurodam, a miniature city in the Netherlands that Disney once visited. However, the technology did not yet exist for creating the miniature animated figures that were to inhabit the "Lilliputian" village, so the canal ride opened under the name Canal Boats of

The Boudin Bakery Tour which opened with Disney California Adventure is a humorous tour that shows how sourdough bread is made hosted by Colin Mochrie and Rosie O'Donnell. After entering the building, a Disney worker hands out two pieces of sourdough bread per person. The attraction starts in a room with a screen in front, where Colin and Rosie talk about the history of the bread. After this, you move into the next room which actually has sourdough bread being made. Colin and Rosie talk about what's going on, and then you move to the next window and they finish off showing how the bread is made.

The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure or Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid is a dark ride attraction based on the film The Little Mermaid, located in Paradise Pier at Disney California Adventure and under construction in Fantasyland at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. The ride opened on June 3, 2011 at Disney California Adventure, with the Magic Kingdom version of the ride opening in Late 2012. A dark ride featuring The Little Mermaid was supposed to open at Disneyland Paris and Magic Kingdom parks in the early to mid 90's. Early plans for Hong Kong Disneyland also included this ride. The ride was scrapped, but a visual idea was included on the Platinum Edition DVD of The Little Mermaid in 2006. A different version opened on June 3, 2011 at Disney California Adventure Park. The ride building takes up the space of the theater that played host to the Golden Dreams movie hosted by Whoopi Goldberg. The theater itself has been torn down. The restrooms by Golden Dreams have been relocated across the way in the San Francisco buildings. The previous area they occupied has been torn down and is taken up by part of the show building. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is a ride in Magic Kingdom, at Walt Disney World. It is based on the 1992 film, Aladdin. It is similar to the ride Dumbo the Flying Elephant, in that riders in the front rows control how high their carpets fly, and the ride lasts about 90 seconds. There is Aladdin's magic lamp at the top, rather than Timothy Mouse. At the entrance, there is a camel that squirts people as they walk by, much like the Stitch figurine outside World of Disney shop, also in Walt Disney World. Guests who have visited Adventureland before may notice that this land has a new special look. The different shops look like the marketplace buildings from Disney's Aladdin. Different characters from Aladdin are in some of the buildings to do meet & greets and sign autographs. The attraction also opened at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris on 16 March 2002 under the title Flying Carpets Over Agrabah. The attraction is set against a large "movie set" backdrop of Agrabah, with guests playing as the extras in Genie's directorial debut. A third version of the attraction opened at Tokyo DisneySea in Tokyo Disney Resort on July 18, 2011 under the title Jasmine's Flying Carpets. The

King Triton's Carousel of the Sea is a Carousel at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The attraction's name comes from King Triton, Ariel's father in the Little Mermaid. Unlike the horse arrangement in King Arthur Carousel in Disneyland, this carousel uses sea horses, flying fish, whales, dolphins, sea lions, otters and garibaldi. Because of the California Adventure renovation, it was closed until May 2009 for new canopies. There were plans for a new color scheme that will fit in with the Victorian Boardwalk style theme, but they were canceled to save money for other updates. Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros is a indoor Log flume and dark ride movie housed within the pyramid-shaped Mexico pavilion, at the Epcot theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States. The attraction begins with posters indicating that the Three Caballeros are to perform a concert tonight. After boarding the boats, guests float around the Mayan pyramid in the back of the pavilion's main room. Soon, guests enter a tunnel on the side of the pyramid, where Panchito Pistoles and José Carioca of The Three Caballeros introduce themselves, only to find out that Donald Duck, the third member of the group, has run off, prompting Panchito and José to set off on a frantic search for their missing friend. The next few scenes show Donald touring Mexico and José and Panchito on a magic sarape (a sort of Mexican flying poncho) looking for him. The next scene has characters similar to 'It's a Small World' with dancing animatronics and a Donald Duck piñata. Once past this area, guests enter a cave, which features different scenes of live-action footage with the Caballeros. After leaving the cave, there are three panels featuring a Mariachi band

The Maliboomer was an attraction at the Paradise Pier section of Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It was an S&S Power "Space Shot" attraction, which meant that it launched guests from the bottom of the tower instead of slowly lifting them to the top and dropping them from there. The ride was pneumatically powered, with all three towers having independent ride systems. It also contained "Scream Shields", used to block the screams from reaching residents near the ride. The concept of the Maliboomer came from a space-themed version of the popular "high striker" attraction on many boardwalks and carnivals. The concept was that men test their strength by hitting a mallet and ringing the bell, impressing their dates and winning them large stuffed animals. The attraction's name also hinted at this theme, since it alludes to the beach town of Malibu, California. As part of the park's multi-year, $1.1 billion expansion, the Maliboomer was originally planned to be remodeled, but it was later announced that the ride will not survive the park's expansion. The ride's last operating day was September 6, 2010 and the dismantling of the attraction began

Raging Spirits is a roller coaster attraction in Tokyo DisneySea, began operation on July 21, 2005. Created by Walt Disney Imagineering, the attraction takes guests on a thrilling, high-speed ride through the ruins of an ancient ceremonial site, visually based on the Incan buildings in the mountainous region of Peru. The attraction is located in Tokyo DisneySea's Lost River Delta section. Much like the roller coaster design on which it is based—the Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril attraction at Disneyland Paris —guests riding Raging Spirits board hopper cars that propel them along tracks around the archeological excavation site.

Share a Dream Come True is a parade that was shown daily in Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom as a part of the 100 Years of Magic Celebration. The Golden Horseshoe Stage (referred to as Pecos Bill's Golden Horseshoe Saloon during construction) opened in 1955 with several other original attractions at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. Over the years the venue has housed multiple stage shows; it currently shows Billy Hill and the Hillbillies seven days a week. The "saloon" is located in Frontierland and has a picturesque view of the Rivers of America, New Orleans Square and part of Critter Country. The Golden Horseshoe Stage unofficially opened on Wednesday, July 13, 1955, as the Golden Horseshoe Saloon, when Walt and Lillian Disney, along with dozens of guests, celebrated their 30th anniversary with a private party and the premiere showing of the original Golden Horseshoe Revue. On Saturday, July 16, 1955, the Golden Horseshoe opened a day early for a private party of corporate sponsors. This show marked Wally Boag's first official performance as Pecos Bill/Traveling Salesman at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon. The first show to open on the stage was Slue Foot Sue’s Golden Horseshoe Revue (mistakenly spelled "Review") on July 17, 1955. The revue's music was written by Charles LaVere, who served as the show's pianist, and

Heimlich's Chew Chew Train is a slow moving train-type ride inside "a bug's land" at Disney's California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It first opened in 2002, along with the rest of A Bug's Land. Guests board a train in the shape of Heimlich, the German-accented caterpillar from Disney·Pixar's A Bug's Life. Heimlich himself narrated the ride through the speakers on the trains. Heimlich's tendency to overeat is the theme of the ride, as the train appears to eat through oversized portions of human foods: candy corn, animal crackers, carrots, Brussels sprouts and watermelon. Appropriate scents accompany the giant food sets. Large bites have been taken out of all the foods, so you can tell that Heimlich has been there before. At the ride's end, Heimlich bids riders farewell and reminds them to eat their fruits and vegetables.

Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull, a motion simulator dark ride adventure, based on the Indiana Jones films, opened September 4, 2001 at Tokyo DisneySea theme park in Chiba, Japan. (It is not to be confused with the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which was developed and released after the attraction's opening.) Guests accompany intrepid archeologist Dr. Indiana Jones on a turbulent, high-speed adventure through a dangerous lost temple aboard modified military transport vehicles. Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, which opened in 1995, is a similar attraction within Adventureland at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Because of the success of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, George Lucas decided to join forces with Disney in creating a new attraction for Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. Unlike the previous collaboration, Temple of the Forbidden Eye attraction was created with a backstory "set in the Lost Delta of India, circa 1935." Turtle Talk with Crush is an interactive attraction that has appeared at several of the Disney theme parks. It first opened on November 16, 2004 at "The Seas with Nemo & Friends" pavilion at Epcot, and was duplicated at Disney California Adventure in July 2005. The attraction was open in Hong Kong Disneyland from May 24 to August 10, 2008 as part of the "Nonstop Summer Fun" celebration. The attraction opened in Tokyo DisneySea on October 1, 2009. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Pixar, the attraction consists of an improvisational, real-time conversation with Crush, the animated sea turtle character from the Disney·Pixar film Finding Nemo. A similar version is also featured in Disney Cruise Line's Animator's Palate restaurant on their new ship Disney Dream. Guests are admitted to a movie theater-like room featuring what appears to be a large aquarium-style window opening onto an undersea vista. Children are encouraged to sit on a carpeted area up front so that they may have a better view, while parents and other adults sit on benches behind them. The host and moderator gives a brief introduction to the show, and then Crush swims down to appear in the

Kali River Rapids is an attraction at the Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, in the "Asia" area. It is themed as a rafting expedition along the Chakranadi River, courtesy of "Kali Rapids Expeditions". In keeping with Animal Kingdom's message of conservation and environmental protection, this attraction deals with illegal logging and habitat destruction. The queue winds through several themed buildings, passing by ancient, decaying statues, shrines, overgrown ruins and lush landscapes. Outside the temple there are many pairs of sandals lined up, reflecting the Asian custom of removing shoes before entering places of worship. In keeping with the theme against illegal logging, chainsaws can be heard in the forest near the queue. While approaching the loading pagoda, one passes through a boathouse and on a television screen the proprietor of “Kali Rapids Expeditions” explains their company's mission: to show visitors the natural beauty of the area. She also warns of illegal loggers, and the dire ecological impact their actions have. Moving into the brightly colored wooden pagoda, decorated with Tibetan prayer flags, riders are loaded from a rotating platform into 12-person rafts. The

Alien Invasion (Chinese: 宇宙深寒) was an exclusive attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland in Hong Kong for the Disney's Haunted Halloween event in 2009. The attraction was a thrilling walk-through attraction, with living aliens appearing around every corner. The attraction was located in the Tomorrowland. Part of the Starliner Diner was temporarily used for the attraction.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant is an aerial carousel-style ride located in Fantasyland at five Disney parks around the world. The original attraction opened at Disneyland in October 1955, three months after the park opened. The four other versions of the attraction were opening-day attractions at their respective parks. One elephant from the ride is in the collection of the National Museum of American History, donated in 2005, on the occasion of Disneyland's 50th anniversary. Based on the character from the 1941 animated feature, the sixteen ride vehicles each resemble Dumbo and are mounted on articulated armatures connected to a rotating hub. The passengers ride in the "Dumbos" and can maneuver them up and down with a joystick that operates a hydraulic ram. The ride itself rotates counterclockwise at a constant rate. A figure of Timothy Q. Mouse, currently voiced by Chris Edgerly, rides atop the central hub. Originally at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom, the figure held a training whip and stood on a disco ball. With the exception of Tokyo Disneyland, he currently stands on a hot air balloon and holds the "magic feather". Each of the parks, with the exception of Disneyland Paris, have a

Mad Tea Party is a spinning tea cup ride at all five Disneyland-style theme parks around the world. The ride theme is inspired by the Unbirthday Party scene in Disney's Alice In Wonderland. The ride has gained infamy over the years for the number of guests who get motion sickness as a result of the spinning component to the ride. The attraction is called Mad Tea Party at Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom. It is known as Alice's Tea Party at Tokyo Disneyland, Mad Hatter's Tea Cups at Disneyland Paris, and Mad Hatter Tea Cups at Hong Kong Disneyland. All five versions of the attraction are located in Fantasyland, and all except the Tokyo version were opening day attractions at their respective parks. The Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland versions do not have a big teapot in the center of the ride platform. Like Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Disneyland and its Hong Kong counterpart have a replica of one of the teacups located outside of the attraction to be used by guests for better photo opportunities. Main Street Haunted Hotel (Chinese: 大街詭異酒店) is an exclusive attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland in Hong Kong for the Disney's Haunted Halloween event, which is located in the Main Street, U.S.A.. Unlike Haunted Mansion in other Disney parks, it is a thrilling walk-through attraction, with living haunts and specters appearing around every corner and along the hallways inside the hotel and the ghost of Victoria Maxwell who had haunts the halls searching for fresh victims since 1889. The attraction also fills with detail scene settings, audio and theatrical effects in order to maximise guest's experience. Main Street Haunted Hotel was the latest addition of the haunted experience for the Disney's Haunted Halloween event in 2007. It replaced by Graves Academy in the 2012 Halloween season beginning from October 4, 2012.

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is an attraction within the Magic Kingdom, a theme park at Walt Disney World Resort. It opened on April 2, 2007 within the park's Tomorrowland section, where it replaced the Circle-Vision attraction The Timekeeper. The main theater is equipped with 400 seats and utilizes digital puppetry technology similar to Epcot's voice-directed Turtle Talk with Crush. Live actors perform voices behind a large digital screen, while computer-rendered monsters appear with the actors' voices. This attraction is set after the events of the Disney/Pixar animated film Monsters, Inc. Monstropolis is running on safe, clean "laugh power," but even now it still needs more laughs to provide for the needs of the monster world. To that end, Mike Wazowski suggests opening up Monstropolis' first comedy club. Humans will temporarily enter the monster world via a door the monsters have placed in Tomorrowland. During their visit, guests will be entertained by Monsters, Inc.'s top comedians, where their laughs will be collected and converted to electricity. The Laugh Floor only features two characters from the original movie, Mike Wazowski and Roz. Here, Mike is the "monster of

Stitch Encounter (also known as Stitch Live) is an interactive show located in Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland. A similar attraction, under the name "Stitch Live!", is located inside Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. Disney attractions similar to Stitch Encounter include Turtle Talk with Crush, located in both Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort as well as Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor at Disney World The attraction is a prime example of both real time animation and digital puppetry. Stitch Encounter consists of an unscripted, real-time conversation between park guests and the animated character Stitch, Experiment 626 from Disney's Lilo & Stitch movies and TV series. The attraction, which opened in July 2006, was part of a three attraction expansion to Tomorrowland, Hong Kong. It is located adjacent to the entrance of Space Mountain. The attraction offers shows in three different languages (Cantonese, Mandarin and English), to accommodate the variety of languages guests of Hong Kong Disneyland speak. Show times are available at the entrance of the attraction and each show has a length of approximately 20

The Western River Railroad is Tokyo Disneyland's version of its steam-powered railroad. It does not circle the whole park; it instead passes through Advenutureland, Frontierland and Critter Country. Additionally, this railroad differs from other Disney railroads because its track gauge is 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) as compared with other Disney railroad track gauges of 3 ft  (914 mm). There is only one stop, probably due to Japanese rail regulations for trains for more than one stop to follow a timetable, and that is located above the Jungle Cruise attraction. Guests pass the Jungle Cruise, the Big Thunder Mountain, an old "mining town" featuring an ex Rio Grande Southern caboose, the Rivers of America, Splash Mountain, and passes through a version of the Primeval World before heading back to the station. It is presented by Takara Tomy.

Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage! is a Broadway-style musical at the 1,500-seat Theater of the Stars, on Sunset Boulevard, at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World. It is based on the popular animated film Beauty and the Beast (the show opened just days after the films' release), including many of the original songs and characters. Two versions of the show have been presented since opening day. The stage show changed considerably from the original version to the currently running version, causing it to more closely resemble 1991 film of the same name. However, because the show is condensed to approximately 25 minutes, many cuts and edits are made. The show opens like the Broadway musical: A beggar woman asks a spoiled and selfish prince if he will allow her to stay in his castle for the night from the bitter cold, in exchange for a single rose. The prince turns her away. Because his heart is cold, the beggar woman punishes the prince by transforming him in to an ugly, scary, hideous, Beast. Everyone in the castle gets a punishing transformation as well. The prince can only break the spell by learning to love another, and earning their love in return. Years later, Belle

Crush's Coaster is a spinning roller coaster attraction at Walt Disney Studios Park, in Disneyland Paris. The attraction officially opened on 9 June 2007 as part of the park's Toon Studio placemaking and expansion project, improving and expanding the area formerly known as Animation Courtyard. The Toon Studio project itself was officially announced on 11 January 2005. The expansion of Animation Courtyard was envisioned, without any confirmation of the new attractions to be included. No true official press announcement was given until the launch of the resort's 15th Anniversary Celebration on 1 April 2007. The ride Crush's Coaster is the first Finding Nemo-based ride in Disneyland Paris, while other Disney Resorts already featured some. The ImageWorks is an interactive exhibit area at Epcot's Imagination! pavilion, described in the closing spiel of the original Journey Into Imagination as "the creative playground of the future". Originally, the attraction was in the upstairs area of the pavilion in the glass pyramids. After the 1999 refurbishment of the ride, a new ImageWorks was constructed downstairs by the unload for the new attraction, under the name The What-If? Labs, with a few new things to see and do. The original ImageWorks is in fact, mostly intact, though now used for special events and storage, though late in August, the area started being used for the finale of an interactive Kim Possible activity being tested around Epcot, primarily in World Showcase. The ImageWorks has also appeared at Tokyo Disneyland in the form of a gift shop for Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. All association with Kodak was removed when the company ended its sponsorship of the pavilion in 2010; the only noticeable changes should be the disappearance of Kodak signs at the attraction. Jumpin' Jellyfish is a parachute jump–style ride at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California and Tokyo DisneySea at Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan. The attraction's name comes from the jellyfish-themed parachute ride vehicles, the bubble and 50-foot (15 m), kelp-themed towers. Jumpin' Jellyfish has a sister-themed attraction that opened in September 2001 at Tokyo DisneySea. This attraction is similar to that of the former Maliboomer, but scaled down to more child-sized proportions and rethemed. The 180-foot-tall (55 m) Maliboomer required riders to be at least 52 inches (1,300 mm) tall, whereas Jumpin' Jellyfish only requires riders to be at least 40 inches (1,000 mm). Although it had originally been planned, this attraction was not removed during the expansion of Disney California Adventure Park.

King Arthur Carrousel is the carousel in Fantasyland at Disneyland which was featured in the telecast of Disneyland's 1955 opening day. Inspired by the Griffith Park carousel, Walt Disney wanted something similar for his new theme park: a carousel consisting of all jumpers. A park model Menagerie Carousel was purchased and moved to Disneyland in 1954. The carousel was built by William Dentzel in 1875 and had been operated at Sunnyside Beach Park in Toronto, Ontario, since 1922; it had three courses of horses and other animals on a platform 72 feet (22 m) in diameter. The attraction was refurbished and significantly altered in preparation for opening day. It was widened to four courses to increase guest capacity. Of the carousel's 71 horses and one mule, most were carved in the Dentzel factory in the late 19th and early 20th century. To add the outermost course, several carved wooden horses were acquired from a Stein and Goldstein carousel, others from Coney Island's Looff carousel, and more carved horses from various other carousels from around North America. The Mickey Mouse Revue was an indoor stage show acted by audio-animatronic performers in the Fantasyland area of Magic Kingdom park and was one of the three original attractions on its opening day and was also an attraction at Tokyo Disneyland. It is not to be confused with Mickey's Revue, an early Disney cartoon. The basic premise of the show was a musical concert, in which Mickey Mouse conducted an orchestra made up of various Disney characters. In a 1962 interview, Walt Disney talked about his new audio-animatronic technology in The Enchanted Tiki Room and untitled haunted house attraction. He said that he had similar plans for "all the Disney characters." Contributing Disney Imagineers were John Hench, Bill Justice, and Wathel Rogers. On October 1, 1971, the Mickey Mouse Revue show opened as an 'E' ticket attraction in Fantasyland, in the Magic Kingdom, Florida. The show ran until it was closed on September 14, 1980. The building that housed it was renamed the Fantasyland Theater. Mickey Mouse Revue found a new home at Tokyo Disneyland park in Japan, where it was performed in Japanese. Reflections of China is a Circle-Vision 360° movie which is located in the China pavilion of the World Showcase in Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort. The show is narrated by an actor playing Li Bai, an ancient Chinese poet, who takes the viewer on a tour of the Chinese countryside and historical structures and buildings. Some sites that are seen are The Great Wall of China, The Forbidden City in Beijing, Hunan, Guilin, Suzhou, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. Reflections of China updated Wonders of China, a similar movie.

Swiss Family Treehouse is an attraction that features at several Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. The remaining versions based on the original are located at Magic Kingdom Park, Tokyo Disneyland and at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. The walk-through attraction is centered around a giant treehouse where everyone can hear and see various scenes based on the Disney film Swiss Family Robinson. Before he wrote the book called Swiss Family Robinson, Johann Wyss and his kids imagined what it would be like if they were stranded on an island. So together, they came up with lots of crazy adventures for the Robinsons. Almost two years after the Disney film Swiss Family Robinson was released to theaters, in 1960, Disneyland introduced the Swiss Family Treehouse to Adventureland. When the Magic Kingdom opened at Walt Disney World Resort on October 1, 1971, the Swiss Family Treehouse was one of the original attractions of Adventureland. The tree, while intended to look real, is actually made up of steel, concrete, and stucco, stretching 60 feet (18 m) tall and 90 feet (27 m) wide. Yet, it looks exactly like the one in the movie. Adventure Thru Inner Space, presented by Monsanto Company, was an attraction in Disneyland's Tomorrowland. It was the first attraction to utilize Disney's Omnimover system. Adventure Thru Inner Space opened on August 5, 1967 as part of the New Tomorrowland, and closed in 1985 to make way for Disney and George Lucas's new Star Tours attraction, which opened in early 1987. The attraction was narrated by Paul Frees, who also lent his voice to the Haunted Mansion attraction, another Omnimover attraction which is still open to this day. The attraction was designed to simulate humans shrinking to a size smaller than an atom (the "inner space"). As riders waited for their journey into the atom, they were able to see other riders entering one end of the Monsanto Mighty Microscope. The other end of the Monsanto Mighty Microscope had a glass tube in which miniaturized riders could be seen moving across. The microscope was aimed at a panel beyond which snow could be seen falling. Upon boarding their 'Atommobiles', riders were greeted by the voice of an unseen scientist (Paul Frees) who explained, "I am the first person to make this fabulous journey. Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, also known as The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, is the name of an attraction featuring an audio-animatronic version of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. It was originally showcased as the prime feature of the State of Illinois Pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair. One year after its debut at the World's Fair, the attraction also opened at Disneyland, where it has undergone several changes and periods of hiatus through the years. The current version of the attraction opened at Disneyland in December 2009. The original version of the attraction opened with the rest of the New York World's Fair on April 22, 1964 as Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. The overall theme of the show dealt with inspiration, justice, and the meaning of the United States Constitution. The pre-show consisted of a film with a depiction of paintings representing Illinois and a soundtrack featuring the Illinois state song with narration by Royal Dano and Disney Legends recipient Paul Frees. The Jungle Cruise is an attraction located in Adventureland at many Disney Parks, including Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, and Tokyo Disneyland. At Hong Kong Disneyland, the attraction is named Jungle River Cruise. Disneyland Paris is the only Magic Kingdom-style Disney park that does not have the Jungle Cruise in its attraction roster. The attraction simulates a riverboat cruise down several major rivers of Asia, Africa and South America. Park guests board replica tramp steamers and are taken on a voyage past many different Audio-Animatronic jungle animals. The tour is led by a live Disney cast member delivering a humorous scripted narration. Sources of inspiration for the attraction include a 1955 True-Life Adventure about a pride of lions, and the movie “The African Queen”. Imagineer Harper Goff referenced the African Queen frequently in his ideas; even his designs of the ride vehicles were inspired by the steamer used in the film. The project was placed on the schedule to open with the July 17, 1955 debut of Disneyland. Living with the Land (originally Listen to the Land) is a log flume tour ride located within The Land pavilion which is part of Epcot theme park in Walt Disney World Resort at Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is a slow-moving boat ride, which is part dark ride and part greenhouse tour. The focus of the ride is on agriculture, especially new technology to make agriculture more efficient and environmentally friendly. The dark-ride portion of the attraction opens with a scene of a deciduous forest in the middle of a thunderstorm, illustrating how the forces that shape the land can appear destructive to us. The boat then sails through artificial biomes representing a tropical rainforest, a desert and the American prairie. Some of the Audio-Animatronic figures in this section were originally created for the never-built Magic Kingdom attraction, Western River Expedition. The biomes feature sound and lighting effects, in addition to heat, wind and mist, to simulate real conditions. The boats float through a small theater that illustrates the relationship between humans and the environment, and the ways that we have been modifying the land to better serve our purposes. Mike Fink Keel Boats were small boats that navigated the Rivers of America at Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort. An identical attraction called River Rogue Keel Boats still exists at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. The Mike Fink Keel Boats were based on the Walt Disney television shows, later made into feature length movies, Davy Crockett's Keel Boat Race and Davy Crockett and the River Pirates. The boats were free-floating and traveled around Tom Sawyer Island. Yet, the ride was named after the "King of the River" who lost the keel boat race. People would sit inside the seating area inside one of the boats with a roof on the top where more people could sit also. This was the design issue that caused it to close. On the inside, guests could watch full episodes of Walt Disney's Davy Crockett. The keel boats at Disneyland closed at the end of the summer on September 6, 1994 and remained closed for nearly a year-and-a-half until coming back in early March 1996. The Magic Kingdom's keel boats ran continuously until they finally closed in April 2001. At about 5:30 p.m. on May 17, 1997, the Disneyland Gullywhumper boat began to rock side to side. It

Mission to Mars was an attraction located in Tomorrowland at Disneyland and at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. The show was originally named Rocket to the Moon and it opened in 1955 along with Disneyland. The ride was refurbished as Flight to the Moon in 1967. In 1975, the destination was changed to Mars because humans had already been to the Moon. During that time, the attraction was considerably dated. The show was initially sponsored by McDonnell-Douglas. After sponsorship ended, logos referring to the company were removed from the attraction, but the outline of the stylized tail fin in the McDonnell-Douglas logo still remains part of the former building's facade. The show was designed in cooperation with NASA and was basically a revised and updated version of the previous attraction Flight to the Moon. Guests would now be launched on a spacecraft into space and then approach the surface of the red planet Mars. Guests would first enter a viewing area known as Mission Control, which was modeled after a typical mission control center with chairs and control panels for about ten seated Audio-Animatronic "technicians" whose backs were to the audience as they moved their heads and

The Orange Stinger is an off the shelf Zierer Wave Swinger swing spinner in Paradise Pier at Disney's California Adventure. Themed to bees in an orange, the original bumblebee seats were removed within the first year due to extreme damage to the bee shells. Since then the seats were normal unthemed swing seats. Initially an orange scent effect was sprayed into the attraction making the ride smell like a 'real' orange, but was later removed for it attracted real bees. The giant orange is a tribute to the Orange fields that Disneyland was built on, as well as Orange County, where the Disneyland Resort is located. Snow White's Scary Adventures is a dark ride at the Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park (Paris) theme parks, and, formerly, Magic Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. Located in Fantasyland, it is one of the few remaining attractions that was operational on Disneyland's opening day in 1955. The ride was also one of the few rides that was operational since opening day in Walt Disney World Resort, until May 31, 2012. The ride's story is based on Disney's 1937 film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, their first animated feature film. Snow White's Scary Adventures opened on Disneyland's opening day as Snow White and her Adventures. Imagineers had designed the ride so that guests felt like they were the main character of the story; in this case, guests were Snow White. Few people understood this concept, and some wondered why Snow White was not featured in the ride. During 1983, all of the Fantasyland dark rides were slightly redesigned as part of a large overhaul of Fantasyland. It is also set to open at Tokyo Disneyland in Spring 2013. Set in the fictional Star Wars universe, The Adventures Continue updates the two parks' original Star Tours attractions. Whereas Star Tours took place after the events of Return of the Jedi, The Adventures Continue is set earlier in the film series' timeline, between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The attraction opened on May 20, 2011 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and on June 3, 2011 at Disneyland. The Barnstormer is a junior roller coaster. It is located in the Storybook Circus section of the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini is the successor to The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm which closed in February of 2011 as part of the Fantasyland expansion currently in progress. A petting zoo named Grandma Duck's Petting Farm previously occupied the site where The Barnstormer now sits. This petting zoo was located in the Mickey's Birthdayland section of Fantasyland and was home to Minnie Moo, a holstein cow that was famous for having a Hidden Mickey on its side. In 1996 the petting zoo was removed and Minnie Moo was relocated to Fort Wilderness. She later died from natural causes. The barn which housed the petting zoo was integrated into The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm. After the closure of Grandma Duck's Petting Farm in early 1996, the Magic Kingdom began construction on a junior roller coaster called The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm. Haunted Mansion Holiday is a seasonal overlay of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion attraction. (A similar overlay called Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare can be found at Tokyo Disneyland.) It blends the settings and characters of the original Haunted Mansion with those of Henry Selick's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Haunted Mansion typically closes for two and half weeks in September so it can be converted into the Haunted Mansion Holiday. The overlaid attraction is then open to guests from late-September through early-January, before being closed again during January so the overlay can be removed. Two similar overlays - Country Bear Christmas Special and It's a Small World Holiday - had already been successful for some time when Haunted Mansion Holiday was developed. Initially, Disney considered doing a retelling of A Christmas Carol, but decided against it due to the attraction's setting in New Orleans Square and the incongruity of bringing Santa Claus into the eerie environment of the Haunted Mansion.
