    Dogmatic Infidel Comedown OK

    • Year Released: 2010
Dogmatic Infidel Comedown OK is an album of reworks and reinterpretations of tracks from IAMX's third studio album Kingdom of Welcome Addiction. It includes remixes by Combichrist, Pull Out Kings, Alec Empire, Vive la Fête, Black Light Odyssey, Omega Man, Aesthetic Perfection and Terrence Fixmer; covers by Miss Derringer, James Cook and Anne Marie Kirby (The Dollhouse), German band Index, and Larry Driscoll; and Chris Corner's own reworks under the alias of UNFALL. "IAMX has been remixed in the past but I was never much involved in choosing the artists and somehow it always fell short of my expectations," says Corner. "This is the first time I put my attention to it. Sometimes I am the child in the candy shop with all the tingling excitement, and sometimes my anti-industry-anti-people cynicism kicks in. But I had a feeling that I wouldn't be disappointed with this collection of oddballs."

    Kingdom of Welcome Addiction

    • Year Released: 2009
Kingdom of Welcome Addiction is the third studio album by IAMX, released on May 19, 2009. Chris Corner described Kingdom of Welcome Addiction as being "like Disney World but with lipstick, cynicism and wit". It is the first IAMX album not to feature the vocals of Sue Denim, as well as being the first not to include any SP4 tracks. The album was given to journalists to review but one journalist leaked it online in April and the album dispatch was also delayed. However, as an apology those who ordered it from Boutique IAMX were treated to an acoustic version of 'Running' which Chris filmed in a corridor of his own apartment building. This clip was later included on the CD-ROM of 'My Secret Friend'.

    Kiss + Swallow

    • Year Released: 2004
Kiss + Swallow is the debut album by IAMX and was released on July 13, 2004. It mostly consists of tracks that were recorded for the unreleased fourth studio album by Sneaker Pimps, which is dubbed "SP4" by the fans. Kiss + Swallow was an extreme departure from Chris Corner's work with Sneaker Pimps. Almost completely electronic, the album incorporates driving synth-rock ("Kiss + Swallow", "Your Joy Is My Low"), lush, atmospheric, melody driven ballads ("Mercy", "I Like Pretending", "Simple Girl") and groove-based, erotic electro ("Sailor", "Naked But Safe", "You Stick It In Me"). The album was recorded entirely in Chris Corner's private home studio in London between late 2003 and early 2004. A demo version of this album also exists. This so-called "US Promo" was leaked to the internet shortly after the official release. Most tracks are similar to the finished product. However, some tracks, such as "Skin Vision", "Simple Girl", "Sailor" and "You Stick It In Me" (known on the promo as "Life? Question?", are noticeably different and include different music, different melodies and in the case of "Skin Vision", completely different lyrics. During live concerts, Chris Corner has

    The Alternative

    • Year Released: 2006
The Alternative is the second studio album by IAMX, released on April 28, 2006 in Europe and a year later in the UK and Ireland. It was re-issued on Metropolis Records in the US on May 6, 2008. It is the second IAMX album to contain tracks intended for SP4 and is generally viewed as an underground classic of its genre by many music critics and the fans. The US and UK versions differ significantly from the original German/Swiss release. Many of the songs saw significant parts rerecorded or remixed, most noticeably "The Negative Sex" and "Spit It Out", as well as "The Alternative", "Nightlife" and "Song of Imaginary Beings". "This Will Make You Love Again" is among a handful of songs to have been edited to include vocals by Janine Gezang. The re-released versions also include a string version of "Spit It Out" as a hidden track. Both album versions carry alternate covers. Nightlife was used heavely in the promotion for the vampire film We Are The Night. It's featured in a sequence in the film as well, which feature no dialogue but is told rather truth the images set to the song. Original 2006 release All music composed by Chris Corner, except where noted. 2008 re-release All music
