Feline leukemia is a fatal virus. It spreads through urine, nose discharge and saliva. Some of the ways cats can catch this disease through bites, sharing, food and water bowls. Mother cats can pass this disease on to their kittens and they are the most likely to contract it.
Common symptoms: system-wide infections, diarrhea, skin infections, eye disease, respiratory tract infection, bladder infections, infertility, anemia and cancer. There is also no cure for this disease and any severe, chronic illnesses are most likely clear indicators that your cat has feline leukemia.
